Spaceman Spiff
Can't really get into the juicy details of the story, but I need to know if the hard drive on our office computer has been backed up recently...like if everything has been pulled off to an external hard drive. We're running Windows XP. Is there any way to find out?
CandaceM23
Possibly ... We take images of computers on a regular basis in the event that a hard drive fails. Acronis is what we use for our clients.

hockeysc23
Our company pulls images is all the time. Do they have you run backup software. Usually they have logs.
Mooka
Spiff, the computer would definitely save a log if someone backed up the hard drive. At the very least, you can see when it was last done if you wanted to restore your settings from the last backup. I believe you go to system tools --> backup --> advanced
HOF44
Hmm.... I'm not sure, but if it was me I would check your event logs under computer management and see if any drives have been mounted recently you don't know about.
IONTOP
Whether or not it has... You need to cover your ass... No matter what you are concerned about, just make it look like it's a "typical" file... You need to start making crazy files... "I love little puppies that are crossbred with penguins" "I need to go to the bathroom, but I'm too involved with work that I can't get out of my chair" Think about it... It'll work
