Mickalino
I'll be stuck in Charlotte this Tuesday and Wednesday, with time to kill. Anyone with ties to the area, with ideas on how I can pass the time (mostly during the daytime) ?
skinsfan07
I live in the middle of the city and I can tell you that unless the weather is PERFECT, there is jack **** to do around here during the day. At night however, the clubs downtown, or "uptown" as they call it here, are pretty live. Same with the bars. They just opened up a new move theater that has personal service, you can order like steaks, and whatnot and have it delivered to you, it has loveseats also, so that'd be pretty cool to go to. And they have a new bowling alley also. So those are some options for the daytime.

SUSkinsFan
The NASCAR Hall of Fame is within a 30 minute drive of Charlotte. That's pretty interesting if you like racing.
HogNose
Stay in the airport. There is more to do there than there is in Charlotte.
IONTOP
Stay in the airport. There is more to do there than there is in Charlotte. BTW... When you're at the Airport... You've gotta be a ticketed passenger to go to the airport bars.. I learned this when my brother's flight was 3 hours late (Always by 30 min intervals, so I couldn't leave).. I could see the bars, I just couldn't go into them...
Kosher Ham
I would check out the "Howl at the Moon" bar, or maybe even "Cans". I am not the type that goes out that often anymore, but I have heard those places were cool. Sometimes a place called Amos' has live bands. I think Therapy and Cosmos are two other popular spots. I am more of a Stool Pigeons type of guy (a sports bar)

skinstzar
Check out Bar B Q King on Wilkinson Drive. Used to go there in college and it was on Triple D on the food network recently. Then there is also South 21 curb service if you are near South Boulevard.
