DWinzit
Chiefs agreed to terms with LB Zach Thomas, formerly of the Cowboys. Neither Thomas nor recent acquisition Mike Vrabel has much left in the tank, but their leadership will help ease the transition to Clancy Pendergast's new 3-4 defense. While Thomas will start at one of the inside linebacker spots, the Chiefs still need at least one more starter at linebacker. Wake Forest's Aaron Curry remains an option with the No. 3 draft pick. @DCGoldPants
I totally forgot he went to Dallas last year. I remember that was a big deal at the time. At least they didn't give up a pick for him.
[[ghost]]
I still think they ought to go with Curry at #3. Allow Vrabel and Thomas to groom him there, as well as Johnson, who is fairly young. What is Glenn Dorsey doing now? Is he going to be their NT, or shift to DE? I heard he was going out to be a DE, but I'm still unsure.

LeftCoast Skinz FAN
I totally forgot he went to Dallas last year. He was a total non-factor there. I can't say I remember hearing his named during any game I saw or on Sportscenter or NFL Network during the season. Did he even play while he was in Dallas? :dallasuck
pjfootballer
Sign of the end. When a player keeps signing 1 year contracts, he's at the end of the line.

Did he even play while he was in Dallas?:dallasuck He played in all 16 games, starting 14 and registered 94 tackles. Zach Thomas had a bigger impact in Dallas than JT had in Washington....and it didn't cost them a 2nd round pick.

coolbeans
His $2 million salary puts Dallas back in the running to get a 3rd or 4th comp pick for losing Canty. This is very good news.

JT is still the better player at this point in their careers, but JT was injured all year, and didn't play up to his potential. but thanks again for the 2nd round pick, it will be even better if a healthy JT returns to the Phins after the draft.
