NoVaSkins21
Same here. Orakpo in B&G would be great!
VAsBeachBoy
Yeh I see what this guy is doing but thats kinda ridiculous to make three drafts based on three strategies. His supposed top 32 players doesn't have everette brown. Hmmm.
Sebowski
This guy is suppose to be one of the more accurate mockers out there. I personally don't think it looks very accurate. 8 of the top 12 players on offense, 3 of them QBs, and 3 of them WRs?
Cliffmark1
Really? A DE is going to help us win more games than help on the O-line? The D is solid enough to win games, the QB needs time to throw and perhaps we'll score some games with 34+ points.

LoudMouth12thMan
That's hilarious. Yeah, they're going to pass up the best DE in the draft and go with the #2 or #3 End. Plus, this guy has Wells going to the Bucs. Right! They have two solid RB's in Graham and Williams. And, they picked up D. Ward from FA. Credibility? Not going to happen man. Sorry but Orakpo won't fall to us. Oh!...edit...should have known that the article is from Dallas. Figures!
ADF
Orakpo seems to be dropping on some draft boards. He may be too much of a tweener for some teams. But it all could be misdirection. I've never seen him play, so I couldn't give a honest opinion. Has anyone here seen many of his games?

illone
This very well could happen. Casserly said Orakpo was a question mark because of his lack of coverage skills. If a 34 team wants him to move to OLB then he will need to be able to cover TE's and RBs which according to casserly he will struggle with. I wonder how many teams agree with good ole Charlie. Nuwanda
Nothing makes sense. The Browns already have Rogers, they're not gonna pass on Orakpo. The Broncos will definitely not pick Freeman, he doesn't even fit their scheme. The List goes on and on...horrible mock.
illone
Dang, if Alex Mack goes to Pitt that is totally unfair.
derekc4
I don't really want Orakpo. I think we can make better use of the pick. I just don't have good vibes about the guy. If we do get him, I hope he's a stud, but I'd rather trade down.

I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm just saying that, yes while we need O-line now the most, if Orakpo dropped to us, he could be our LB/DE playmaker for years. That's part of the BPA strategy. RIDETHEWALRUS
Orakpo would be outstanding. He would do more for this team than any of the OTs that will be available there. With Orakpo we are guaranteed top 4 D and likely top 5 in sacks and turnovers. The guy is just insanely good.
mistertim
I think this is the first recent mock I have seen without Everette Brown in the 1st. Did they forget about him or something? Look at most other mocks and you'll see him consistently in the top 15. Weird.
Justsomeguy
Brian Orakpo or Everette Brown or Andre Smith or Ray Maualuga or Michael Oher and I would really like Clint Sintim and Graham Gano. We get any of those pieces and I will definitely be happy.

If we could trade down and get Sintim that would be awesome. The guy is a baller. He can rush the passer and play OLB.
hfmonk
Yes....well....He leaves Alex Mack, Michael Oher and Andre Smith on the table until the end of the first round.....not to mention Laurinitis.....Laurinitis is a special player....Much more than Orakpo but unfortunately the truth of it all is that we need OL help desperately. If MW comes back then we wont really need help at DE....draft someone late for depth but our 1 and 3 picks will be OL.
FrFan
I wouldn't pick a DE in the 1st round, it's too risky.
MrJL
If Oher dropped all the way to the low 20's I'd be calling around offering next years first and our third this year to try to get him. Put a stopgap at linebacker
wildbill1952
Number one rule of football: The team that scores the most points wins. Without an improvement on offense that gets us above 10 points a agame, the Skins still lose. Fix the OL first, then draft whoever you want. Detroit went BPA for years and look how they fared. Eventually, you either factor in need or you lose forever because BPA does not tell you how to compare an OL to a QB or a WR or a DE. Sometimes the second best or third best OL is better than the best DE.
Chump Bailey
Orakpo would be outstanding. He would do more for this team than any of the OTs that will be available there. With Orakpo we are guaranteed top 4 D and likely top 5 in sacks and turnovers. The guy is just insanely good. That's going a bit too far for my taste. Orakpo's been handled by more than a few OT's - Alex Boone being one of them. I think you're hyping him up too much personally. I'm becoming less enamored with him by the day actually. His supposed top 32 players doesn't have everette brown. Hmmm. Glad to see several have noticed the obvious. Gosselin's board appears to be what he described as the need board vs. the BPA board. Brown is a top 10 and worst top 15 talent according to a collection of scouts/experts. Like him more than Orakpo. Let some other team take the work out warrior. Not saying he won't be good but imo Brown will be better. Many have commented that the skins need OL help. That's obvious but when. They don't need to reach for an OL in the first round given that Samuel's has tread left on the tires and RT can be filled in a later round. Look no further than our friends in Baltimore for RT draft philosophy and I think most would agree that Ozzie has been exceptional in the draft over the years. I want a talented tackle as much as the next person but not at any price. http://www.profootball24x7.com/column_view.php?cid=74&id=3341&view=archive
Veretax
till pick 5 I can kind of understand. The Browns drafting raji seems odd, but given the problems they've had with Shaun Rogers, believable. Cincny should take a Tackle and not a WR, they couldn't keep palmer healthy, it wont' matter if he had TO to throw to, if he's not protected. Tyson Jacson to GreeN bay I think is too high, especially with Orakpo on the board. 49ers taking Sanchez will make them a laughing stock, Literally ROFLLMAO! I don't know if Maybin fits in the 4-3 that Buffalo runs. Broncos are NOT taking freeman. Write it down. man there are some silly picks there. No way does detroit take a DT after drafting stafford especially if Andre Smith is there. ROFLLMAO.
