jbooma
Exactly. I really wasn't all THAT impressed by what I saw of Cutler. I just think he's got a cannon arm that can get the ball down the field to Royal and anywhere in the vicinity of Brandon Marshall. Well then you never saw him play with 6th string RB's :doh: The guy put up 300 yards a game with anyone playing rb, this is why he is such a good qb. The teams all played to not let Cutler beat them, and that is what he did. If that defense could stop someone Denver would have been in the playoffs. Riggo-toni
(when's the last time, if ever, a 4,000-yard passer got traded at age 25?) I don't know if it was the last time, but I remember the Raiders giving us the best left tackle in the NFL for a young disgruntled 4000 yard passer also named Jay...Jay Schroeder. Within a couple years, he was all the way down to 3rd string...and Schroeder had proven himself a LOT more than Cutler, taking his team to the conference championship, whereas Cutler has a losing record as a starter. Riggo-toni
i watched enough of them last year to know how important cutler will be. orton was awful with the bomb to hester, and he was wide open more times than i can remember just due to his sheer speed. if cutler is accurate with that bomb to hester, that offense is gonna be silly. Cutler will flounder with that OL and WRs. Noone could succeed there. This trade will get both coaches fired in 2 years - I guarantee it. Long run, it might benefit Denver if they make wise use of the picks, but both teams will have losing records next year, especially Denver. You probably have no idea about anything bears-related, because if you did, you would know that their offense really isnt that bad- its middle-of the road, and certainly much better than ours. I don't see how adding Cutler wouldn't improve it. But hey, thats just common sense talking.

Cutler is not on the field to tackle anyone and if Denver had some decent defensive players his record would be a lot better. Here is Cutler's rating in the games they lost last year: 96.6 75.7 70.6 95.7 85.4 96.4 45.6 95.5 32.7 he was crap in two of the losses and played well enough to win in the others, he isn't the reason they lost games
