Rskins91
Note to Jason: we don't care if you are pissed. You are not a good QB, and you don't really deserve a starting spot. All other Redskin QBs have been replaced at some point and you will be to. Most of us want it sooner rather than later. Prove to me you are a great QB and this will change. Poor Jason. He sucks as a quarterback and is angry when we try to upgrade. What a travesty. Nice try OP, but not good enough. If he's going to get mad now and light up the score board, that's not good. All that tells me is he had it in him before the termoil, but not the balls to use it. That doesn't look good for him. Getting angry is great for 7 year olds playing Red Rover, but this is professional football. You shouldn't have to get pissed to be at your best. Get rid of him. Wow, tough crowd. Jason really CAN'T do anything to get people off his back. I thought people would be happy that he's got a fire under his ass but apparently it's whining and he needs to be replaced. I admit I kinda coveted Cutler too, but I can only see this as a good thing. Sometimes we all need a little extra motivation and Campbell is getting it right now. But I guess the true JC haters really can spin anything the way they want.
LarryBrownsFan
I think it's a personality thing. Does he perform better when he's comfortable or when he's just a little angry? More importantly, does he prepare (for the season) better when he's comfortable, or when he's just a little angry? Any ex-starting qb's on the board ever been challenged during the off-season? Ever wanted to prove to everybody who doubts your ability that they were wrong? He's CHOSEN a profession where you have to constantly prove that you're the best MAN for the job. It's not like he's the junior vice president of his father-in-law's company or something like that. He'll be fine. I'm more of a Redskins fan than a JC fan. So if it turns out that he's not fine, then it'll be time to start looking for a qb with some cahones.
2cents
Basically, Jason, and all the players should realize that they were hired to be fired or replaced. Any guy that is shocked or pissed that after a few years of mediocre play that the team may look at replacing them just doesn't get what football is all about. Maybe he's just ticked that neither Dan or Vinny could be a man and tell him to his face what it was they were attempting at the time. I don't know that to be true, but maybe that has more to do with it than actually being traded. Jason has said he understands this is a business. That doesn't mean it can't cut the guy. ZoEd
Poor Jason. He sucks as a quarterback and is angry when we try to upgrade. What a travesty. Below is a quote from the Bleacher Report article and is a prime example of why this team will continue to suck. Why would anyone want to play for a jackass like Snyder? Him and Vinny have a track record for treating players poorly. Lavar, Ramsey, Lloyd, Coles and you can keep adding names to the list if you like. You can say what you want about their abilities on the field, everyone has a right to their opinion. Bottom line is, you shouldn't treat people the way he treats them. If you think they suck, sit them down man to man and tell them they suck. Don't jerk them around, sentencing them to the bench and refuse to talk to them. Be a ****ing man instead of pompous little prick. Business or not, if someone jerked me around the way Snyder and Vinny does their players I'd have already squashed the little punks. Like Jason or hate Jason no one deserves to be treated this way. I don't care how much money Snyder is willing to spend because he's a fan and blah, blah blah, blah; he's still a douchebag. Instead, Snyder and the Redskins had no problem with making it known to Campbell, the media, the fans etc. that they have little regard or respect for Campbell, and that they don't care who knows about this lack of regard or what effect it might have on Campbell's performance or on how the rest of the organization (e.g. the coaches and teammates) will respond to their lack of regard for Campbell. Cutler barely had better numbers than Cambell. Cambell played two years under a coach in Joe Gibbs who thought it was more important to not make mistakes and force the ball than throwing touchdowns. We had a gun slinger who took risks in Patrick Ramsey and he was run out of town by Gibbs. Cambell was taught to not make mistakes and to take low risk throws. Now that he's doing that behind a sub par line he sucks. I hope we do let him go and he goes on to win multiple championships and rubs snyders punk ass nose in it. Cutler is not an upgrade! Getting angry is great for 7 year olds playing Red Rover, but this is professional football. You shouldn't have to get pissed to be at your best. Get rid of him. For JC to throw for 4k yards and 25+ TDs, he's going to hae to get production from the O-Line and from either MK or DT. Ok, so let's say that he throws for 4k yards and 25+ TDs. You're still going to be mad because he didn't do it a year earlier? Maybe that could be an indication that other things around JC were not working, and it wasn't JUST the QB? Dude, I think that you need to see somebody and get some help. I thought about giving you a pass because by your post, I thought you were twelve.. but when I saw you were in your mid fourties I was shocked.. First of all, speak for yourself.. I do care about the starting quarterback for my favorite NFL team.. I also think that saying that all other Redskins QBs have been replaced is really telling.. You sound like a Dallas fan trolling a redskins message board.. Saying that a 26-27 year old QB with a 63% completion rate, 83 QB Rating, 2-1 TD-INT ratio and over 3,200 yards in the first season in a new system sucks really tells me how clueless you and all other JC haters are.. to you Jokers its Payton Manning or bust.. well I got news for you, Tom Brady came into the league in 1998 and there hasn't been another one since.. Well run franchises like the Giants, Titans, Panthers, Ravens, Steelers, etc. have gone deep into the playoffs without being dependent on the hopes that the next Payton Manning will fall into their laps if they trade away every good QB they ever get.. F*** It, its like trying to describe color to the blind.. I could go either way on JC, really don't care. My point for months has been that while QB play was shaky down the stretch, EVERYTHING else was shaky also, and I thought we had a chicken/egg thing going on: was JC bad because he got no help, or was everybody else bad because JC was bad. Probably a bit of both. I just think that they have to upgrade the players around the QB, and have them make plays also. There are 2 QBs who can take over a game all by themselves: Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. That's the list. Everybody else needs help. And even Brady, when he was knocked around in the SB by the Giants, didn't look like Tom Terrific, and they scored 13 points. So use the damn 13th pick on a hulking O-Lineman, use the 3rd rounder on another O-Lineman, tell Buges to coach them up, and let's go play. I don't think bumping Portis is the answer to JC's problems. Portis was damn near our entire offense last season. If you take him out the equation, we are easily on par with the Detroit Lions. Well, to be honest, we did score less points than Detroit last year. Tell that to John Mcenroe. First John McEnroe reference I've seen on the board. The guy knew how to throw a tantrum. Koolblue13
Last season we finally went and drafted the weapons, now they have had a year to learn. Our O line feel apart, it's almost fixed and may be already. JC now has a full season under his belt with his HC/O system. Players are coming to our team because they feel we are contenders, for less money. Our team is all excited and on the same page. We were 6-2 last year, before falling apart. The problems have been fixed. This is a contract year, with zero excuses for Jason. Why do people feel the need to be such *******s to the kid. I support Jason fully and coach Zorn for this season, then we will talk. HTTR!!!!!
texasthunder
Well if Jason being pissed translates to increased production on the field, then all this BS is worth it. One thing is for sure, this time next year, we will be either talking about which QB to draft, or speculating on more line players.
SkinsFan203
This is a joke. Campbell is "pissed." Really? Campbell doesn't have a problem with attitude. Character is something Gibbs sought after first when drafting a QB. That's fine. But the problem is now we have a #1 draft pick with poor mechanics, slow decision making skills, and an inability to get the ball into the endzone. Campbell is going to lose his gift of "calmness" that everyone thinks is his greatest asset. You ask why? Because he's on the chopping block. If he has another mediocre season, he's out. When Snyder was trying to trade him last week how many teams wanted him? 0. Now instead of focusing on getting better, Campbell is going to be forcing everything. He'll be trying to make something there when it's not. His INT's will go sky high and we will get blown out of games more often then not. This game is about production, scoring points, and getting the "W." We need a new QB and now. :logo:

chris_c_19960
when i read this this morning get pft sent to phone I said I guess so even if not publically saying he is Iwould think that he would be and uses it as motivation to play his heart out and leave it all on the field this year. I have been behind Jason since Joe picked him bc when he was drafted thought was a great pick up. He's a qb who is used to changes year after year so him landing in Washington was no suprise bc Danny owns team and He hires and Fires constantly. Best Player Avail Best caoch avail best cordinator then when no one wanted to come here after they see how Danny boy is then we get talks of Jim Fossel and Greg Williams wasnt a fit. Stand behind JC not entirley his fault Fix the OL how many times we got to say it. And how funny would draft party be if we had trade for cutler and had No PIcks in 3 rds

balltillIfall
He has every right to be pissed because Snyder once again threw him under the bus. I don't care what anybody thinks J.C. is a good quarterback and this is the season where he proves everybody wrong. Give the man a break and give him his one more deserving season. And for those of you saying we have replaced every other Redskin starting quarterback is true, but where has that gotten us in the past? NOWHERE! is the correct answer. So for all of you hating on Campbell like Snyder I suggest you rethink because I can assure you getting a QB with our first round pick would once again be a horrible move and another worthless draft. We lose Campbell who knows the offense for a new QB who doesn't know it will prove to be another rebuild season without making the playoffs. Then all of you will get on here again and complain why we need another quarterback. :dallasuck

Players cannot develop with a line that hardly gives the entire offense time, not just JC.
