DCranon21
Read this and read this carefully:The Lakers will lose in 6 games or less to the Mavs or Jazz in the first round. I would put a sig bet on it. ML, let's do it. What you want to do? I like easy money :cool2:

Heisenberg
They bought their one championship. I hope they savor it because another one is not forthcoming And I'm looking forward to Phil matching Auerbach w/10 titles this year. I hope this was a joke. Since when is trading promising young players for proven veterans "buying" anything? Regardless, Celtics will be going home in the 2nd or 3rd round if Garnett can't come back and do so at a high level.
EersSkins05
I hope this was a joke. Since when is trading promising young players for proven veterans "buying" anything? Regardless, Celtics will be going home in the 2nd or 3rd round if Garnett can't come back and do so at a high level. Particularly given the circumstances behind the Gasol heist, which also occurred last season. At least the Celts gave up close to equal value for Ray and KG. (And I'm no Celts apologist.) I think the Cavs win the title. Nobody's winning a game in their building, and they're going to have home court throughout. People act like the title belongs to the Lakers b/c they got there last year, but they forget that Lebron got a MUCH worse Cavs team to the Finals the year before that. Celts aren't nearly as deeps as they were last year and KG's knee isn't getting better. Magic might make some noise, but they still have nothing for Lebron. My Spurs are looking like they need another significant piece, and Ginobili is playing at about 60%. If I had a gun to my head, I'd say that the Lakers win the West, but it wouldn't surprise me to see someone like the Jazz or Blazers to come out of there. ACW
I actually think the Celtics trade for KG worked out for BOTH teams: CELTICS: got a future hall of famer who can still produce and is a locker-room leader T-WOLVES: if nothing else, get an under-25 big man in Al Jefferson who averaged 20 and 10 last season and this season before injury
CrypticVillain
ML, let's do it. What you want to do? I like easy money :cool2: Alright here it is.... If the Lakers get out the first round I will display a sig for each participant for a two weeks. If they win the Finals I will display it for a month. HOWEVER!!!, If the Lakers lose in the first round I get to pick a sig for yah to display for two weeks. If they lose in five or less games each participant was to display it for a month. Kosher Ham
Lakers played so bad for 75% of the game last night against the Jazz. And still were up by nearly 20 with 6 minutes to go or so. The announcers were calling it a game at that point.
