To All Who Would Listen,

Jason Campbell's poise has been well documented and oft- discussed around this league, but never before had I truly understood just how important it was.

As a life-long Redskins and NFL fan I say, "Thank You Jason Campbell."

I can't imagine how difficult it must be to come to work every day knowing that despite your best efforts there are still so many that would place the blame for everything that goes wrong with this team's offense directly in your lap. To hear yourself and your skill-set constanly deminished by the comparison to lesser QB's around the league who have free reign to throw first and ask questions later. And finally, today's anarchy! A very weak showing by your FO, to say the least.

Through it all, you have been the consummate professional and have, contrary to popular opnion, progressed every season as our starting QB.

You are indeed a rarity, and breath of fresh air in today's dog-eat-dog NFL. I speak for all TRUE Redskins fans in saying that we are blessed to have you, and I believe in your ability to lead us to glory %100.

I hope you do very well as a backup in Indianapolis next year.

What Redskins fans say nowadays is just sad...All of the pessimists will find out once Campbell does good this year.

The guy is young, wears William's number, he is complemented by Warren Moon, complemented by Jim Zorn....but cannot gain the respect or trust from his flip flop "What have you done for me lately" GM and fans.

My thoughts exactly. Well done JC for putting up with all the BS constantly thrown at you from some Redskins fans and the complete lack of faith shown by those in charge while still maintaining your integrity.

Well said. Campbell is a rarity in this day and age, and I hope his performance this season will be good enough that even the worst of the dopey haters will have to eat crow. A lot of folks here think they can predict the future and can determine every athlete's limits, capabilities, and intelligence by sitting on their asses and typing on the computer. That will never go away, but I am rooting big time for JC--at least he can force the parasites to seek another host.

this will show who's the classest of es members

or be a cluster****

:munchout:

I applaud JC for his professionalism in handling this, I really do.

But, to say "I can't imagine how difficult it must be to come to work every day knowing that despite your best efforts there are still so many that would place the blame for everything that goes wrong with this team's offense directly in your lap." Is an absolute joke.

He's a part of the problem, not the solution. "I can't imagine how difficult it must be to come to work every day?" GET REAL. He has a ****ing job and he's banking incredibly on it. A guy was laid off and went on a shooting rampage today. But "woah is Jason", I mean, making millions and being criticized for not being a great QB? Wow....

...and Bubba, thinking we can and should better ourselves at QB is good. I don't see people saying "**** JC" or he's a douche, they just want to improve at the position. Is that a lack of class? Not in the slightest.

I wanted to stay out of this thread in respect for those that think JC is the man for us, but those two things bothered me.

Dear Jason, you better win this season and pull some serious magic vision downfield out of your hat instead of rabbits! How the hell did you go undefeated in college ball? Had to be the team! Anyways, go out there and make us happy we kept you.

my thoughts exactly. i love how people say 'he's just not a good quarterback.' give me a break. like you know anything about jason campbell. you've seen him play near flawless and you've seen him play less than perfect. have you ever seen him throw three or four ints in a game? nope. cutler's had multiple 3+ INT games. how about other NFC East 'great' qbs? three games of 3+ INTs for manning. Romo sits to pee? 6 games with more than 3 INTs (including two games with 4 and one with 5). losing games for their team single-handedly. JC has zero games with 3 ints. Everyone blames him for the losses. Now, he certainly could have more big plays. He could take more chances. But how someone sitting on a forum can decide the future of Jason Campbell.. unfathomable to me.

The guy is a human being. Not a robot that plays football.

What's your point? He's also (hopefully) not a little ***** that will get his feelings hurt by this to a point of no repair. Did you read the OP's post?

The team tried to improve a position and in the process, Campbell may have gotten his pride hurt. To say "I can't imagine how difficult it must be to come to work every day knowing that despite your best efforts there are still so many that would place the blame for everything that goes wrong with this team's offense directly in your lap" is a joke bro. An absolutely joke.
