Please, no. I hate these kinds of players. If we didn't take TO we shouldn't take Plax. He's everything we don't need!

Plex doesn't have a long history of legal problems. He did one stupid thing.

Maybe this is the reason this team finishes dead last almost every year. They are and the fanbase like you are too picky.

Here you go. Under NY Law:

§ 265.03 Criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree.

A person is guilty of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree when:

  1. with intent to use the same unlawfully against another, such person:
    • <LI style="LIST-STYLE-TYPE: lower-alpha">possesses a machine-gun; or <LI style="LIST-STYLE-TYPE: lower-alpha">possesses a loaded firearm; or
    • possesses a disguised gun; or

[*]such person possesses five or more firearms; or

[*]such person possesses any loaded firearm. Such possession shall not, except as provided in subdivision one or seven of section 265.02 of this article, constitute a violation of this subdivision if such possession takes place in such person's home or place of business.

Criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree is a class C felony.

The answer is contained in subsection 3. If a person possesses a loaded weapon outside of their home or business you fall under this felony. Plax took a loaded gun into a club.

Case closed. He should just plea it if he can and save himself attorney's fees.

You know, it is amazing how many people try to find loopholes for athletes. Any "normal" citizen is already carving the days into a wall. His attorney is contemplating letting him testify before the Grand Jury. There is no Fifth Amend rights before a Grand Jury. You waive those. And a Grand Jury can ask you anything they want. Dude shot himself. To do that you have to possess a loaded gun. If this case is not the very definition of a slam dunk, there isn't one.

I'm not picky, just offering my synopses of the situation. 'Plax' (who's Plex?) is a locker room cancer. This is why I don't want him on the team (not that I have a say). I couldn't care less about him shooting himself. Players with character issues are just as much to blame for teams not doing well, as a lack of talent. You need talent with character. :helmet:

He sure could, he could shoot his way right through the secondary, that's if his leg doesn't get in the way again :hysterical:

All jokes aside, you really don't think Plax would help?

He's a monster. Unlike anything we have currently on our team. He'd be the PERFECT compliment to Moss.

Yeah we should listen to some New Yorker about adding a cancer to our team who had no problem sabotaging the midgets repeat opportunities with his selfish and reckless behaviour.

If anything Plexiglass will have time to show off his singing voice with his backups

OK lets sign him, I mean, whats the worst that could happen?...

THE FIRST T.O. MOMENT FOR the Philadelphia Eagles arrived only minutes into the wideout's introductory news conference. Head coach Andy Reid innocuously mispronounced the first name of his prized addition, prompting the outspoken Terrell Owens to interrupt. "It's turrULL" Owens said, patting his boss on the back.

hmmmm...

highlights include Owens' angry sideline confrontation with then-Niners assistant coach Greg Knapp; the Sharpie pen incident, with Owens autographing and handing the ball to a friend in the stands after a touchdown during a Monday night game

...a player destroying a team by being self-centered?

The tempestuous star receiver won't return to the Philadelphia Eagles this season -- or probably ever -- because of "a large number of situations that accumulated over a long period of time," coach Andy Reid said Monday.

Oh my god! How could that happen...T.O. is a great player!:chair:
