SMOSS89
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/ The Redskins have released a statement from executive vice president of football operations Vinny Cerrato. It states: "We met with Jason [Campbell] today and had a candid discussion. We told Jason that when [Denver quarterback] Jay Cutler became available we, like many other NFL teams, spoke with the Broncos. We are all on the same page and we are moving forward." ntotoro
That can't be true!!! Vinny was lying when he said he was and when he said he wasn't going after Cutler!!! I mean... so many people here said it couldn't be true that the FO went after Cutler, so he's just lying again.

USS Redskins
Damage control. Damn, I wish we could have gotten Cutler. If he is a True Franchise QB, then he would have been worth two #1's. Besides, do you trust Vinny with the decisions on a #1?
HOF44
At least they didn't lie to Campbell's face.

zoony
If Campbell can't handle his job being in jeopardy, he should have chosen another profession. Like maybe a mailman or something. That goes for any/all NFL Players. Besides, if he's really that fragile, do you want him leading the team? This is all much ado about nothing. If it were me I never would have even met with JC. His job is to play football and do the best he can. My job is to fill out the roster.
haithman
What do you want them to do? There was an asset out there that could have helped out their business. You damn well better believe they were pursuing it. They dont owe Campbell anything, he has to earn it.

ABSTRACT
This is your year Campbell. Imma support and back u all the way man. You finally get a chance to work with the same coach and offensive scheme and a decent line. You know how hard it is for the Black QBs out here. Go get em Mr. Campbell. RWJ
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/ I noticed in the blog Vinny doesn't mention that he told JC, "Your our guy". It isn't over with yet with Campbell. He'll be gone and it will be sooner rather than later. Love him while you can.
Troy Fakeman
Revised: "Dan and I understand that we have one 10 Win season in about a decade. Despite this glaring statistic, we still continue to devalue the draft and try to win games with player and coaching personnel inconsistency." ~Vinny

He did not throw a fit like Cutler did. Campbell does not even care about what the FO does or says. He is aware of his position and he is going to play his heart out regardless. He showed leadership and toughness through all 3 offensive schemes, poor offensive lines, 37 sacks, pessimistic fans, trigger happy GM, small receivers, and everything else that went against him. He has the support of his team mates and coaches (as he said on ESPN 980) and that is all that he needs. Him and Zorn will be our leaders for years to come.
