cjcdaman
Okay, I downloaded software that converts an AVI file to MPEG format. I didn't like it, so I want to uninstall it. I go into Control Panel/Uninstall Programs and try to uninstall it. It starts and then quickly a box pops up and say "Install.log could not be found". So, I downloaded Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and tried to find in there but couldn't find it. Any suggestions?
EnFoRcEr_uPu
The Cleanup Utility always works for me, that's very strange. What is the name of the program?
BigMike619
sometimes if you right click on the icon it will tell you that you need to remove it from your computer and then do it for you. also, what if you just tried to delete the entire folder it created? cjcdaman
also, what if you just tried to delete the entire folder it created? I'm having trouble finding it. It also says that you can delete the directory that it created to uninstall it. I have no idea how to find it.
GibbsFactor
Where's the installer at? You can right click it and choose uninstall in most cases. The program folder should be in C:\Program Files and many times will be under a different name then the actual software, most likely the developers name. But it really isn't recommended to delete an installed program's folder to get rid of the file.
