Whether or not the Cutler trade rumors were legitimate, the state of this franchise / fanbase has been scrambled up for no good reason. At the end of last season, it was my feeling that the offensive personnel probably wouldn't change too much. We'll get our 2nd year players more involved and shore up the O-line. Bam. Plain and simple.

Big acquisitions on defense are were already promising to make us a more dynamic team. More pressure = more turnovers, better field position more often, and if the team makes strides in the red zone, then we will be as close to a complete team as we have been in years.

Now, after the Cutler fantasy turned out to be just that, some "fans" want to deal Jason Campbell anyway. I was opposed to making the deal, as many of you were, while recognizing the potentially great QB Cutler is. I still believe we have a potentially great starting QB, not to mention that he has the character to persevere through embarassing trade talks. I believe in Jason Campbell, and he really deserves a fair shake this season.

Anyone who thinks Colt Brennan, Marc Sanchez, or any other option at this point would be better than JC17, you are all bats*** crazy. Next year is Campbell's make or break year. He's got every reason, and is making all the necessary preparations to succeed in Zorn's offense, and should he fail, we can always give Colt or Collins a shot.

Please stop the craziness. I need sleep.

I have no idea what to expect this year.

I look at our defense and love what I see. Although, getting rid of JT was a move I will never understand. Our offense is cause for concern. JC could be on his butt quite a bit this year.

In the east coast bias article that Bubba posted the writer seems to have his popcorn ready and thinks the skins will have an all out implosion this year beyond anything we've ever seen.

8-8 again this year. If London Fletcher gets hurt 2-14. Fletcher is that good.

There's that word again. Potentially. Funny how JC and potential have become synonymous around here.

Personally I would like the words "Redskin QB" and "win" to become that way.

He had a fair shot last season, and the one before it.

Every year since he's been here has been his make or break year. So far he's made nothing.. but alot of people here make a ton of excuses.

I guess if excuses were dollars JC would be a billionaire by now.

The guy gets paid millions a year to PERFORM, not for the ever elusive "next year might be the one he puts it all together"

Look, last season was his his FIRST full year starting, the previous year he only played half a season..Give him a damn chance, ever since Coach Zorn has been been here he has improved significantly with his footwork, some of his vision, some quickness, and more confident standing in the pocket and getting knocked around a bit as he throws.
