Seriously. When is this guy going to learn to shut up and let people with real information do the reporting.

He was on ESPN earlier running his mouth to Suzy Colber like he was some sort of sage. The jackassery that this guy manages to produce on such an enormous level is almost alarming.

When will the Post, the media, and the general population of DC and Virginia learn to JUST IGNORE JLC?

What the **** are you talking about?

JLC was one of the LAST people to jump on the reporting bandwagon. He posted that the Skins were interested first, about 24 hours ago.

I laugh at LaCanLoser when he's on tv he looks like a moron talking as if he has some "real insider" info to Redskins Park.

Who cares when he jumped on? He reported the information as if it were fact, which it clearly wasn't. It'd be one thing if this was a first time offense, but didn't he report that we weren't interested in Haynesworth? The dude sucks.

What are you talking about? Are you denying that the Redskins were in serious talks with Denver to trade for Cutler? Really?

Absolutely not. I'm saying Cutler never had that pen and paper in his hand like JLC was reporting to Kolber. More likely he thought Cutler would be signed, and tried to make a bold journalism move.

Bear in mind to know what the Redskins are doing one must actually speak to someone employed by the Redskins. The Redskins were never quite as into Cutler as was reported. The Redskins were not as into Owens as reported. The Redskins were not as into Fassel as was reported. The Redskins did not even consider hiring the Giants coordinator, as was reported.

There is no question there are sources outside Redskin Park who talk about what the Redskins may do or contact they may make. And you can often connect the dots on that. Sometimes you can't.

I dont think JLC has any inside sources. He never once mentioned the bears. Not once. Which make me think someone was blowing smoke up JLC's ass or JLC was blowing smoke up the fans..... I personally don't believe we EVER made a real overture for Cutler. I believe JLC was completely wrong. Did ESPN ever really get on the Skins for Cutler bandwagon like all the local papers? Does the Washington Ppost own The Examiner? I'm sensing some serious WaPo duping here. Just to mess with the skins fanbase.

I thought this was some of JLC best journalism he's done since being with the post. He was the first i heard to break the news of Cutler possibly coming to Washington. He then later updated saying that the redskins were making a very strong push to get cutler. Based on past business moves within the organization, I think that he was pretty justified in predicting that he would sign with us in the next day or two. Honestly, to me, it sounds to me that your just bitter we didnt sign Cutler.

This thread makes no sense.... even now everyone is reporting that the Skins probably came in second.

Its not like JLC reported the deal was complete and we had traded for Cutler.

The Skins didn't come in second. They knocked on the door and didn't come in at all. But, the media has too much on the line now to figure that out.

Dude what the hell are you talking about??? People all over the media, including NFL network AND ESPN, were predicting he signs with the redskins. They virtually all said we were making a strong pitch to get Cutler, and they thought that what snyder wants snyder gets so they were all guessing we were gona get him. You guys are actually starting to whine and ***** because we didnt get cutler.... hmmm sounds just like Cutler.

I don't care anymore. He's a stupid reporter. I care more that our FO seems pretty inept. Although there are theories this is part of a bigger plan, I just don't buy it.

Have fun bashing a guy who is of no relevance to this organization.

An interesting conclusion to come to. Particularly when I was so indescribably furious at the prospect of trading for him, but whatever.

So he reported that the Redskins had interest, are you saying that he was wrong? Because I'm sure that will be how the FO tries to spin it now, that the Skins were NEVER trying to trade for Cutler and that the Post and the other MEDIA SLUGS got it completely wrong.

Snyder probably wishes every fan was like you.

Diehard, no what it really proves is that JLC had zero inside sources. Or his were entirely wrong! Where was a reference to the Bears? He never once mentioned them. JLC was waaaaaay off. But you'll give him a break because the Skins Front Office's prior tendencies? Don't let him off that easy. An apple is an apple. JLC was completely WRONG about Cutler.

The people in the media were using themselves as sources much of the day. Once two people write it, it's public, and you can write it. There is NO question the Redskins called the Broncos. Everything else is open for question.
