Skins_TL
Even if this trade doesn't go down (which I hope it doesn't),why would JC wanna stay here? If he does have a good year to the point that he would be actually wanted by teams at the end of next year, why would he want to re-sign with a team that didn't want him before? Campbell is a professional. And if he has a great year, the skins can always franchise him.

jasjhughes
I think Snyder has made his decision. If he doesn't get Cutler, I think we take (maybe even trade up for) Sanchez.
mnb123
Because he wouldn't be able to start for 90% of the other teams.
Hooper
I think Snyder has made his decision. If he doesn't get Cutler, I think we take (maybe even trade up for) Sanchez. That would be the worst case scenario. I watched every USC game. Sanchez is RAW. I wouldn't go near him.
brianm23
good. Never wanted him since the moment he was drafted.

I agree...that option is worse (to me anyway) than missing out on Cutler, trading Campbell, and starting Colt.

Skinz4Life12
he will stay here cuz his teammates and coaches have his back and they have confidence in him he will stay here because he likes playing with his current teammates and feels he is making progress with them. like he said in his interview, you can't please everybody
Milkbone Jackson
Because he's not a whiny little prick like Jeff George Jr. and he can overcome having his little feelings hurt. Come on, these guys are highly paid professional athletes. People like Campbell don't let this stuff get in their heads.

If he does have a good year to the point that he would be actually wanted by teams at the end of next year, why would he want to re-sign with a team that didn't want him before? Because it will be an uncapped year and he won't be an unrestricted free agent when his contract runs out.

Because he's classy, he understands it's a business and that's how it is. He will want to prove himself. He won't cry because of a trade like ***** boy Cutler. Gibbs Hog Heaven
Is it really still open to debate? Like it or hate it, management patently no longer want him. I can't see how he stay's regardless. Hail.

a0tmike21
If we don't get Cutler oh well ... If Jason wants to leave then that's too bad but whatever happen to all of these Colt Brennan cry's why would we draft Mark Sanchez if everyone thinks Colt is gonna be the greatest qb ever!?!?!?!?! But you know what is most pathetic about this whole thing....apparently our head coach hasn't been clued in to this fact. So we have Snyderrato in their underground lair coming up with ways to get Cutler and we have Zorn telling the media and Jason himself that Jason is his guy. This organization is running on all cylinders.
Gibbs Hog Heaven
Nothing is done until it's done. There's no correct sources pointed out here other then rumors. Oh come on man, let's be realistic about this. First off we stand back from offering him a contract. Now were going in strong for Cutler, that's not open to debate. Jason's just given an interview on the radio that's whole tone was alluding to him leaving, and very pointedly saying he was backed here by everyone BUT the ownership. The position is being made more or less untenable for him, regardless of Cutler being here or not. Hail.

This organization is running on all cylinders. It is the way most organizations work, believe it or not. More often than not, the coach doesn't have final say about his roster. In a way, we've been spoiled for a while with having coaches who had control of the roster. It is the FO's job to get players, it is the coaches job to coach what he gets.
