Mort said the two top teams that could possibly land the guy whom some compare to the ant-christ are the Bucs and 'skins. At first he said in that order, but said he would flip that and put the 'skins as the favor to land Cutler. He said that Danny boy really wants to get this done. Take it for what it's worth. He didn't name any sources, just said "what Snyder wants Snyder gets". But he doesn't even have any sources saying that Snyder wants this. He's batting worse than JLC right now. At least tell me that the Redskins have been talking to Denver....don't just say that Cutler could fit in here or that you think Snyder wants him. A guy with no football experience what so ever is the General Manager of our football team. Does this not worry anyone? Does anyone not wonder why we've only won a single playoff game since he has been owner? All the mistakes he has made? Fine with the trade, not with the parts that are rumored to be leaving with us. Also, how STUPID will the redskins look when Josh McDaniels turns J Campbell into a pro-bowler. SkinzFoLife Posted April 1, 2009 Share Posted April 1, 2009 I heard Schaeffer from the NFL network give the only plausable reason why we would swap QB's and its all about the money. JC is on the last year of his contract and would expect a big pay day next season and Cutler has 3 years left on his, so from a financial view of the deal, it would seem to make sense, trade JC and his contract, and get Cutler and the remainder of his 3 year cheaper contract.
