CrypticVillain
When it all comes down to it, I don't want Jay Cutler. I am tired year after year of this team changing identities. Now if Campbell messes up this year then he has to go. But damn can we give the dude at least two years in he same offense before we start looking for replacements. Now if we do get him I won't be pissed that we got him, I will be more pissed that we are once again messing up the little continuity that we have. SnyderMustGo
Brees didn't become a good QB until his 4th year in the NFL. His TD-INT ratio first 27 games: 29-31. Campbell's TD-INT ratio first 27 games: 29-17.Romo sits to pee didn't play until his 4th year in the NFL. Brady is basically an exception to the norm in a lot of ways. Not many 6th round picks are going to become one of the best players in the NFL. But even still, Brady didn't put up amazing fantasy numbers early in his career. He didn't have a QB rating over 90 until his 5th year in the NFL. He didn't pass for over 4,000 yds in a season until his 6th year in the NFL. Way to completely miss the point by about a mile. Brees went to a new offense (Sean Payton's) and picked it up by game 1. Romo sits to pee learned a new offense (Jason Garrett) and picked it up by game 1. Brady learned a new offense (McDaniel) and picked it up by game 1. And there are plenty of other examples. Good QBs can pick up a new offense in one off-season. Cutler could too. Only garbage like JC needs at least two entire seasons in a new offense to finally grasp it.

isle-hawg
No, no, no eff no!! Cutler is an overrated prima donna whiny *****! Let him rot, we are Denver's trade ***** I can only hope that we are saved from our FO again once again as we were from Chicago the last couple years. I can only hope Denver trades him to another team the sooner the better!!!!

[[ghost]]
Do I want him? At the cost of what? If the media is right in speculating his huge cost, than no. But a young, strong armed QB with more guts than our current QB wouldn't be a bad idea at all. I still have faith in Campbell. But if you're asking strictly whether or not I would want Cutler in DC, I'd say yes. I'd also want pretty much any good, young player in the league. Mario Williams? Gimme. Adrian Peterson? I'll take him. Antonio Cromartie? Fine, bring him in.
jweisk1
Can someone please give me one reason why it would make sense to bring in Cutler....please dont say he was a pro-bowler last year bc that is middle school logic...Derick Anderson was also a pro-bowl QB 2 years ago as well...1 good year doesnt mean much in the NFL, considering our O-line needs an upgrade and getting Cutler will further neglect our O-line development... Here is some info on Cutler I found interesting.... http://www.fannation.com/si_blogs/huddle_up/posts/60181-broncos-wont-lose-much-if-they-trade-cutler Again, it would another HUGE front office mistake.... Mr. Grundle
Don't want anything to do with Cutler. Just too much ****iness, immaturity, and drama from a kid that's only been in the league a couple years. This is exactly the kind of player Snyder fawns over, which is exactly why I don't want him. Snyder has terrible instincts. I don't care if he's a better QB than Campbell. At least with Campbell I know what I'm getting. Solid, mistake-free, albeit unspectacular QB play. No drama. Hard work. Dedication. Would we see more TD passes with Cutler? Maybe. He's not gonna have a Brandon Marshall to throw to here, so who knows. What can be be assured to see from Cutler? More interceptions. More drama. And we'd be trading how many picks to get him? Again? Really? No thanks. I'll stick it out with Campbell for another season.

88Comrade2000
Yes. Despite the red flags with Cutler, I feel he has upside. We could have a franchise QB for the first time since?????

texasthunder
If the deal is good, or at least fair, then we would be stupid not to want him here.
flock53
No thanks. If we are going to start over with a QB lets just look next year in the draft. Nah, the only maybe would be McCoy. Cutler is proven good. Is he a "diva"? HELL NO, its called pride. EVERYONE would be pissed if in his shoes, traded for a 13 game starter. I understand where McDaniels is coming from, Cassel knows the system/terminology. If you had JC or an average QB, but Cutler is damn good. People say no, cause J would have to learn our system, BIG DEAL, your saying were stuck w/ JC for at least 1 more year and if he dont improve, crossing your fingers w/ Colt cause hes the heir apperant and knows the system and wins job by default. HeHateMe
Wow. I'm actually quite surprised by these results. I knew there would be a bunch of Cutler fans, but to see 60-40 in favor of Cutler is shocking. Been reading mostly negative stuff about bringing him to Washington and how it's not fair to Campbell and that Campbell is still the QB of the Skins. To see these results surely is an eye opener as to how the Skins masses truly feel about Campbell.
DCDiesel44
For JC and a 3rd-rounder...yes For JC and a 1st-rounder...no Regardless having 4,500 passing yards and 25 TD's couldn't hurt
[[ghost]]
Nah, the only maybe would be McCoy. And Bradford and Tebow possibly. Tebow is probably not going to be a QB, but Bradford seems very solid. He has tremendous accuracy and he's a very smart QB. There's no problem with going with him and letting Brennan have a legitimate shot next year should Campbell fail this year. But in all honesty, It'd just be easier if Campbell could just throw for 4,000 yards and 25 touchdowns this year.
Ghost of
i want an offensive line Dockery, Kendall for depth, maybe Rinehart and Geisinger stepping up (maybe not but all you people want to stick it out with Campbell AGAIN but don't want to give the young bucks time) and Heyer at RT with a year under his belt. And probably someone in this draft at line. We're not replacing Samuels. So...?

I bet if the trade does go through(which I doubt) it will be more like 90 percent say it's a good move just like 90 percent though the Jason Taylor trade was a good one. To see these results surely is an eye opener as to how the Skins masses truly feel about Campbell. Different boards are different, too. Like CPND, the vast majority of posts are not pro-Campbell. There are far more vocal Campbell supporters here. As a Cowboy fan, I imagine it could remind you of Quincy Carter /Chad Hutchinson supporters back in the day. I think the numbers are actually more slanted against Campbell than the poll indicates. Like many True Believers, the Campbellites will find ways to stuff a poll because emotion is what matters and any use of the facts is incidental to the belief, which is why they use so many arguments that contradict each other. And this is whether OR not Campbell actually becomes decent this year (and sustains it.) It's very disturbing that he has finished 5-16 over the last three seasons. Larry Brown #43
I can't answer the question, because it's oversimplified. It all depends on what we'd have to give up. And if there are a number of teams interested in him, I fear the asking price will be far too high.
