IS guhn RAIN
yea i think the OP is just saying are you happy with the signing today and are you glad they got him. Therefore when it doesnt work out people cant come on this board and say stupid vinny blah blah blah after these poll results. he should have never done it blah blah. its the same thing with the taylor trade. many people on here were sayin its a great trade were gonna have the best d ends in the league and there both gonna get 10+ sacks, and some, not all, but some of those very same people(yes i actually have checked) came on and bashed vinny like crazy saying he shouldnt have done it and all that crap. so his question is...."WAS THE HAYNESWORTH SIGNING A GOOD MOVE IN YOUR OPINION?" Cooooley47
I voted yes. But honestly I'd rather the Skins would have made the moves the Giants did in picking up Bernard and Canty. However, the Giants already had a great front 7 so I dont know that adding Bernard and Canty to the Skins would have had the same effect. I say that because Bernard and Canty will prob not start for the Giants so they will be kept fresh all game and will be brought in at times when the opposing o-lines are fatigued. Or they will be able to wear down the opposing o-line and allow Osi, Tuck and company to do their thing. Thus having a greater effect. Where with the Skins they would more than likely be able to start and probably just be average players on an average line. So by the Skins adding Haynesworth, they really need to add to that and bring in some depth and players who can beat their opposing o-lineman one on one with Haynesworth taking on the double teams. But overall, at this point yes I am happy with the move. And while I think the DT position is a strong one now, I would not mind the Skins picking up Raji is he falls to 13 by some chance. That would be one of the best DT combos in the league, potentially.
DaGhost
i don't know, his performance on the field for the skins has been a little lacking lately...

Bibby
When I see him posting up key sacks against McNabb, Romo sits to pee, and Manning then I will be a happy camper.
Isifhan
Maybe a better question would be what does Haynesworth need to do during the season in order to justify his acquisition?

Taylor 36
You aren't a few weeks too late, you're a few months too early. Talk to me in January. Exactly. The guy hasn't played one down yet for us. how are we supposed to know if we are happy or not with him?
Jim Bob
Exactly. The guy hasn't played one down yet for us. how are we supposed to know if we are happy or not with him? You mean you can't tell the future? The only downside so far has been that the team wasn't able to sprinkle around the available cap space to address the multiple needs the team has from DE to Sam LB to OT. But, the same can be said of the decisions to re-sign DHall and bring back Dockery.

LeftCoast Skinz FAN
As of right now, with not seeing him play in the B&G, I am very happy with what he can bring to the table. But I will be more than happy to answer this question come December. Check back in with me in 8 months!!!
Merlin Emrys
White did charity work but I do believe he had a few cases where, well he made some questionable comments. There's a big difference between comments and deliberately endangering other people's lives.
Merlin Emrys
YES!!Btw this is a blowout for people who are picking yes. Actually, because the sample size is so low, at this point it's a blow out for the indifferent. Most people haven't cared enough to vote. When your N gets near 1,000, you might be able to make that claim.
SnyderMustGo
The only thing that the guy has done so far as a Redskin is to be indicted. And sign his $100 million contract. This should probably be asked at the end of the season, but right now, the answer has to be no. The only thing we have to go on is the indictment. 'Skins_&_'Stons
Yes, I agree with the signing. But like any rational fan, I will reserve further judgement until he takes the field. :logo:

BAFGA
One thing I've learned about this team since Snyder took over is never get excited about free agent pickups. They'll just disappoint you in the end. The quiet pickups like FLetcher are more successful than the big splashy ones. Haynesworth was splashy.
