Mickalino
So I guess the Stephen Davis episode was just practice for this ? Or that's when he realized his calling ?
SkinzFoLife
Looks like Westbrook has been fighting in the King of the Cage promotion. If the UFC is the majors and Strikeforce and Affliction are AAA, then King of the Cage would be single A, that being said, a lot of UFC fighters got their start in KOTC. Including Spider Silva, Rampage Jackson, etc. Anyway, he's 1 and 1 and got TKO'd in his last fight in Feb. http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Michael-Westbrook-12285
Chachie
The bully lasted a lot longer than Stephen Davis did. :whoknows: BTW- In Westbrook's Sherdog listing, it says his first victory was over Jarrod Bunch. Wasn't he also an NFL player once?
SkinsMaster88
It's on Steinberg's blog: http://voices.washingtonpost.com/dcsportsbog/2009/03/michael_westbrook_beats_up_pud.html "That was like the dark warrior I envision in my dreams every night," one of the bully's victims says of Westbrook. "That guy is like an action figure," the other victim says. And all I could think about was whether Kwame Brown would one day be on a similar show. "This is your last chance, homeboy," Westbrook says to Vince before pummeling him. Wonder if Stephen Davis got such a courtesy. First was a round of grappling, in which Westbrook made Vince tap out four times in five minutes and also gave him what the host described as the "fruit salad in the face treatment." Don't ask. Then came a round of kick-boxing, which lasted 56 seconds until the ref, or the actor playing the ref, or whatever, stepped in. "I think it's safe to say that getting punched by Michael Westbrook sucks," one of the victims said approvingly. "It felt like getting hit by a hammer," Vince said. "He's a strong dude." That ref or whatever is Big John Mcarthy, the most prominent UFC ref ever.
