Westbrook36
Puke fans, does this statistic worry you? 38 of Romo sits to pee's 81 TD passes went to TO. The new mantra this offseason is now that all the distractions are gone, Romo sits to pee and the Cowboys are sure to flourish. The thing that is overlooked is the fact that Romo sits to pee has had TO for 99.9 percent of the snaps he dropped back to throw the ball. Is Romo sits to pee the real deal? We don't know. The guy has had elite talent around him at all skill positions making his job that much easier. An average QB would have fared fairly well given the same situation as Romo sits to pee. Now, TO is gone. Let's see how Romo sits to pee does with an average to mediocre WR corps. 47 Percent! Note- 0 of Romo sits to pee's 46 career interceptions or 32 fumbles have went to TO. That works out to 0 percent. I don't know if losing TO will help either of these statistics.

SirClintonPortis
Let me post his #s with previous QBs. McNabb - career high of 31 TDS in 2004. 14 went to T.O. About 45% Jeff Garcia - 84 TDs from 2000-2002. 42 went to T.O AND he was inactive for 4 games. 50% Conclusion: Be prepared for Romordinary to play ordinary. Also, expect Trent Edwards to have a career year, barring injury of course.
Westbrook36
"have went"?and you say it twice. Awesome job attacking the substance of the thread. Much of what I'd expect out of the first Puke poster in this thread.
Redskins:Victory_or_Death
47 percentage of Romo sits to pee's TD passes will now go to Witten. Sure as hell isn't going to be Roy Williams. That being said the number of TD passes will fall precipitously.
Oldskool
Without Owens, the offense will be more centered around the run and throws to Witten. We all knew this day would come but not this soon. Their offense will be predictable and quite defend-able next year.
tr1
This is one of many things that's worrying that fan base. Everyone has said that releasing TO will let Romo sits to pee be Romo sits to pee. I think that scares Romo sits to pee. It should certainly scare puke fans.
DWinzit
TO did more then just represent 47% of the TD's. He often drew the opponents top CB as well as double and triple teams. On virtually every play his location was always first on the mind of the safeties. His presence opens the field up to the other receivers. I can't wait to see how Garrett, who didn't have a good year with TO, handles life without him. Oldskool is correct, there will be heavy doses of the RB's and Witten. I think we'll see Felix Jones splitting out and more plays with Witten and Bennett together.

Roy Williams is a good receiver but not nearly as good as TO was. I can't wait to see how Witten can carry the load on offense.

I think that scares Romo sits to pee. It should certainly scare puke fans. I ran into an old friend yesterday, who happens to be a Cowboy fan and he said the same as ^. He basically said Romo sits to pee with no TO is going to fail. And basically never liked him because of his lack of commitment to the game/team compared to say Aikman. He went on to say much like Jason Campbell this is a make it or break it year for the QB. Lastly, he added that Jerry needs to sell the team because he will never take off the GM hat. All in all he is a good fan of the hated rival and knows football.

DeMarco Murray 29
Pre TO how was Romo sits to pee's numbers, I never really paid attention to it? There were not any Numbers. Unless you look at his college stats which is not a fair barometer for any NFL player. Romo sits to pee has played all but one 1/2 career game with Owens. The Skins game when you stomped us in the mud and had nothing to play for 2 years back. I mean seriously though, I would hope a majority of his passes went for Td's to Owens. It would've been a lot crazier down at the ranch.
Thinking Skins
Pre TO how was Romo sits to pee's numbers, I never really paid attention to it? I don't know about pre, but they're about to suck post TO, especially when Roy Williams goes down for the season in week 2.

He seemed to be a major issue last year, he was extremely divisive, and he isn't going to play forever, so eventually Romo sits to pee is going to have play without him. Last year TO caught 10 TDs. Romo sits to pee threw 26 in total. It would seem that he has already started to look elsewhere. Let's see how many TDs Romo sits to pee throws next year, and let's see how the offense performs as a unit. I think that Romo sits to pee will play fairly well out of the gate, what worries me is December, and hopefully beyond.
Dead Money
Take out Owens' TDs and Romo sits to pee still threw 3 more than Jason Campbell last year. Pathetic fo us and I'm more worried about that than what Romoliscious will do without TO. Eff da cowboys.

coolbeans
His 10 Tds last year could easily be covered by RW getting 6-7, Felix Jones getting 3-4, Witten catching 1-2 more than last year, Barber running for a few more, Austin getting a couple, and then there's Choice, Crayton, and Bennett who could all score 1-2 more TDs than last year. Obviously the ball will have to be spread around a little more this year than last and its up to Garrett and Romo sits to pee to make that happen. They will have to be creative on offense because I'd assume teams will put their best CB on RW one on one and double Witten. They will have to establish a good running attack to keep teams honest and guys like Austin, Crayton, Bennett, and Felix Jones on swing and screen passes will have to step up and be productive. If they can't do all of that, they will struggle and I doubt anyone will dispute that.

HeHateMe
Romo sits to pee would also have more TDs and a higher completion percentage and hence QB rating if it weren't for T.O.'s numerous drops as well. At the end of the day, not too concerned since they have a very talented receiving corp.
