bubba9497
Yeah, cuz the ES majority is right on every single occasion.I wonder if you recall the Is Rogers a Bust Poll? Or the Do You Like the Jason Taylor Trade poll where 90+% said yes? don't forget the trade/cut Samuels group a few years ago, or the Betts is a horrible backup crowd, and the ever popular Derrick Dockery is a dog threads. illone
Shouldn't Thomas be practicing with a REAL qb?
Truant
Why? They're two completely different receiver structures. The main issue with Devin last year is that he "didn't recall his routes." How's Santana going to help another wide receiver run his route? Effectively route running is the wide receiver having confidence in himself, and the QB having confidence in hittin' his spot. Also, I would find it hard to believe that Santana is "practicing" in Miami. So, I hear Devin Thomas is working out with JC. I think it's great Devin is working out with JC, but there is certainly plenty he could learn from Moss. Recall wasn't his only problem last year. Running to the correct depth, turning the correct direction, seeing the same thing as the QB. Route running is an underrated art. From the number of steps before you make a break, the varied length btw steps, the body lean at various points in a route, how your hands come out of the break, etc. I think those little things bother rookie WRs. If he did work out with Moss hopefully he picked up a thing or two.
SirClintonPortis
Hmm, I guess Hixon really does suck if Thomas has to go to another player(developed by the WR coach on a previous Jets team prior to coming here) instead of him to get help running routes. Somebody please can Stan...
mo808
Shouldn't Thomas be practicing with a REAL qb? Stop it! Anytime the starting QB can work out with his receivers--it's all good! Hail! :point2sky
RED06
Anytime just trying to make it right.I am tired of all the excuses given to Jason. Enough is enough time for a change at QB and no more one more year crap. I am not the only one feeling this way either, have you seen the poll? If not go take a look. How do you manage to turn Jason and Devin working out together to create chemistry between them to, its time for Jason Campbell to go etc etc etc? Give it a rest already dude, that has been beaten in the ground ! Get over yourself, and who cares about a poll! Its always one person that will start foolishness in a thread that's not meant for that! WOW! And you and the rest of the Campbell haters waiting on Jay Cutler to get here is "DREAMING"! tiger187126
maybe DT can become that go to guy when JC gets under pressure he knows to look for. and at least JC will be able to see him, unlike santana or el
Metalhead387
i dont know why people find it so hard to believe that Tana is doing work down in miami. the kid has good work ethic, just look at his career and how he ended up on miami's roster. on top of that, i feel like every offseason espn/fox sports/nfl network does some special about alumni going back to miami to use their facility/staff. moss is always one of the players featured in the videos The "kid" is older than you. SWFLSkins
Maybe the coaches had them out their so Jason wouldn't crack mentally. You don't bring much to the table do ya? The sarcasm is the meat on your meatless samich.
cujo0264
why don't you fake redskins fans shut up about campbell. you act like you didn't see him running for his life last year. i don't care who your qb is if he doesn't have time to throw the ball he will get his ass handed to him as well. so maybe we do need cutler in there so you can start blaming everyone but him..... Chanhillbilly
I'd rather have him practicing with Santana in Miami.. but whatever, better than nothing I would rather Santana be in Ashburn practicing with the team. When I look at MK and DT I see another Micheal Westbrook. Physically gifted but they just don't get it. And if they can stay healthy long enough to get on the field.. tone_dubbz
Good, him and JC need to develop some chemistry with each other. I would hate to think that DT is a waste of talent. I think he has the physical attributes. I just think he needs to work on his professionalism and work ethic.

Never4get#21
Half of Thomas problems was with Zorn. He simply used bs excuses not to play him. Thomas has a ton of talent. It's good to see him getting adjusted to JC. Hope he shuts up the critics and has a monster season.
Skins-Canes-Mounties
Anybody else watch Redskins Nation last night? I watched the 10:30 P.M. edition, and I didn't see any new clips of Campbell with Thomas. I did see clips from training camp last year in a piece focusing on Randle El. These clips showed all of the WRs. But I didn't see any new clips from 2009 of the two practicing together. Granted I wasn't paying complete attention, but I thought I would catch this. (Show started with a Heyer interview segment, then a Randle El mic'ed up segment, then around the NFL, then questions - Did I miss something?) Did anybody aside from the OP watch this show that could verify? Because I can't and I watched the show. But again, maybe I missed something. KDawg
Both fighting for their NFL careers so it makes sense to me. I didn't read the whole thread, but this comment struck me as odd. Campbell, even if not a starting QB, will find work in the NFL. Probably without an issue. He'd be a VERY solid backup, for sure. I think he still has time to be more than that, but that remains to be seen.

I hope he shuts me up as well.:saber: I would love nothing more then to be wrong about both recievers and have to eat a whole bowl of crow here on ES. I say that because if it were true and both recievers ended up like Fitzy and Boldin ( or anything remotely close, hell as long as they were both productive), then we would be winning, saving draft picks, and playing in the post season. Unfortunately, from what I saw last year, I dont have the same optimism about either that you do. I think both picks were reaches when they had the whole reciever class in front of them to choose from.
