terpskins10
 if you say so  No, but seriously I think he just meant he thought Malcolm Kelly was better than Thomas, but that Thomas will prove him wrong this year. Just wrote a C in instead of a K. Sorry for trying to joke around with you!

Gibbs Hog Heaven
Great find. Can you please verify that it was neither photo shop, nor a stunt double? :rotflmao: But seriously, heartening news to read. Beats the heck out of me how both Thomas and Kelly haven't been at the park more or less since the season finished. One would think when your trying to make an impression, after a more or less nonexistent first year, you'd be showing as much willing to your Coaches as you possibly could. Kelly's still rehabbing I presume as regards any news on him? Hail.
elkabong82
Anytime just trying to make it right.I am tired of all the excuses given to Jason. Enough is enough time for a change at QB and no more one more year crap. I am not the only one feeling this way either, have you seen the poll? If not go take a look. Yeah, cuz the ES majority is right on every single occasion. I wonder if you recall the Is Rogers a Bust Poll? Or the Do You Like the Jason Taylor Trade poll where 90+% said yes? You want to offer up any VIABLE solutions at QB then? Or should I point out that the teams refusal to let the starting QB grow into one system over the years has led to constant QB changes and has been a big part of losing seasons? God forbid we let a QB who improved while learning a new system have a 2nd year in that system, especially when this is the last year on his contract anyways. moondog
Sounds good to me. Thanks for the news. I don't see this as groundbreaking. Hopefully they build some good chemistry but really it seemed (from reports and during games) that Thomas's only real problem was not cutting at the right points in his route so he'd always be too far up or downfield. He's got the tools, he just needs to learn the game. I'm excited about what he can bring to the table if he puts it together, hopefully that's this year. Portis for 6
They will both be gone by the season opener. Wow... that was random:doh: That's good news nothing wrong with building some chemistry with you're QB:point2skyNow if we can just get Macolm Kelly to join in we might be on to somthing:mad:

[[ghost]]
Yeah, because a second year receiver is supposed to already have a Pro Bowl under his belt. Wow you've got low expectations. I was anticipating a Receiving title, but hey perhaps your easygoing approach will put less pressure on him.

GSF
I'm just glad to hear Thomas is in there working. It's very obvious that this needed to happen, but I was expecting it not to for some reason.
Stadium-Armory
Talk about low expectations - we've dedicated 5 pages to a conversation about these two play catch during the off season. But don't get me wrong, I'm right there with you, enthraled by every bit of it. I think it shows how much we are all collectively hoping (and some praying) for big things from these two. I for one have my fingers crossed, am glad to see them doing what they should be doing, and hope them much sucess this season.
darrelgreenie
I was watching Redskins Nation tonight and saw Devin Thomas running Routes for JC at the park. I don't know if has been posted or not. I just saw it myself on the replay of Redskin's Nation. This makes me happy, this is a good sign. I remember JC wanting to work out with the receivers in previous offseasons but somehow it never seemed to work out. Now if he can get the Comb and Sleepy out there too that would be sweeeeet!!!!!!!!!!! Lets go Redskins!!!

Shilsu
If Devin Thomas can at least turn into a reliable #3 WR for next season, that would be great. No more Thrash.
NattyLight
I'd rather have him practicing with Santana in Miami.. but whatever, better than nothing Why? They're two completely different receiver structures. The main issue with Devin last year is that he "didn't recall his routes." How's Santana going to help another wide receiver run his route? Effectively route running is the wide receiver having confidence in himself, and the QB having confidence in hittin' his spot. Also, I would find it hard to believe that Santana is "practicing" in Miami. So, I hear Devin Thomas is working out with JC.

RenegadeTK
Also, I would find it hard to believe that Santana is "practicing" in Miami. i dont know why people find it so hard to believe that Tana is doing work down in miami. the kid has good work ethic, just look at his career and how he ended up on miami's roster. on top of that, i feel like every offseason espn/fox sports/nfl network does some special about alumni going back to miami to use their facility/staff. moss is always one of the players featured in the videos
