Keep it up the good work work BB

I think the Biff would have won if it were not for his pit stop error at the end of the race.

Thanks.

Maybe so. That's the beauty of this game - and racing. You can't count the points until they are finished. And no penalties, hehe.

Looks like we have a tight game here. Congrats to the leaders, those who advanced from last week, and for those who picked the winner.

Fun game huh? :)

On to Vegas. And good luck to all.

Damn you Kenseth! I had the pick of the week in Jeff Gordon. And then your typical run.

Kenseth is the reason we have this stupid chase in the first place. Winning a championship without winning a race. He is the epitome of points racing. The polar opposite of Carl Edwards. Nice enough guy, but maddeningly annoying.

/rant Carry on!

Isn't that someone who doesn't really try to win, just races conservatively to try to crack the top 10 or so? Because I don't know if you noticed, but the 17 won the past 2 races.;)

First, I want to say to BB that I appreciate all the work you are doing here and making the season a little bit more interesting. Second, how about that 17 team? Feels good to see Roush-Fenway racoing back on top. I know it's still early in the season but seeing the Evil Empire not having a win yet is beautiful.

week 2 and the Roush boys are in full season trash talk mode. i cant tell you how funny it is to get text messages from HH telling me how great it is for the "roushkateers" to be dominating.

you won daytona cuz of rain

you won at cali fair and square

its week 2!! this is typical ford racing fans at its finest though. You cant win the whole thing so you grasp on to meaningless stats and act like its the season. yeah yeah HH, Jr hasnt won ****. we get it!! but what has carl won when it comes down to it? the "evil empire" isnt evil at all. theyre 3 good drivers that win. Thats it. They arent dirty drivers, they dont talk a bunch of ****, they dont race dirty. They just win.

Im not a Hendricks fan at all but calling them an evil empire is funny ****.

Yes, which describes Kenseth to a T. He will let you buy on the last few laps if he knows you have a better car. He will also gladly run 2nd if he doesn't think he can win. His radio traffic agrees. He said plain as day that he didn't have the car to win. He was almost conceeding that Gordon was going to beat him. But Gordon wore out the right front getting to him and couldn't hold the bottom. And I am not a Gordon fan.

I agree that Kenseth just happened to be in the right place at the right time at Daytona. I don't think that he would have won it had the race gone the distance.

It is early and there is a lot of racing left this year anything can happen. But to the JJ and JG and JR fans out there: :finger:

Hey, Roush might not be like this for the rest of the season so I gotta take it while I can.

oh I know it brother. You and HH are all good with me but I gotta call it when I see it. :silly:

JJ and JG were primed for 1 and 2 until JJ faded. 2 engines dropping at Fontana was NOT a good sign for HMS.

Kenseth is a freaking robot. He kind of scares me in that he could just go in to that mode and be top 5 most of the year...

Oh please... he stated to his crew that he didn't think he had the car to win. He was never "conceding" anything. When push comes to shove on the last few laps, Kenseth will race just as hard as the next guy if he has a shot at victory.

I agree the 17 was extremely fortunate that the rain stopped the race when it did at Daytona, however you've got to give it to him. He raced up all the way from 43rd to first. That being said, who knows who might have won had the race gone the distance. You can't say Kenseth wouldn't have won it though, with him having a car to go from the back of the pack to the front in so few laps.

They figured out the HMS motor problems.

HMS: Engines blew due to bad parts

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Hendrick Motorsports officials say a bad batch of parts led to engine failures by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Mark Martin in Sunday's Sprint Cup race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif.

"Both cars had valve train failures that were related to a specific batch of parts from a vendor," said Doug Duchardt, HMS' vice president of development.

Duchardt said the parts were not restricted to use by Earnhardt and Martin, whose cars are prepared out of the same building. He said they also were used by Hendrick drivers Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson, as well as lease programs such as Stewart-Haas Racing.

Earnhardt finished 39th and Martin 40th after both lost their engines within 25 laps of each other. Gordon finished second and Johnson was ninth, combining to lead 138 of 250laps. Tony Stewart was eighth and led three laps.
