Amber S
I bet the Ravens fans are pretty upset. This is the leader of their defense and he was thinking about leaving two years ago...wow. :logo: Were you the one down in Hawaii recruiting Ray Lewis to the Cowboys? WARE: You know, actually, when we played Ray Lewis and Baltimore at the end of the season, he came over and pointed to my helmet. He said, "I want to wear this star on my helmet, that's my dream . . . that's my dream." When we got to the Pro Bowl, he did it again. He came at me every day. It's a great opportunity for him. His door is open. He's an unrestricted free agent. He's trying to get down where the star is. He told me he needed me to get him Jerry Jones' phone number for him. I just busted out laughing. Do you think he's genuine about the Cowboys or is he just trying to get the Ravens to realize that he's thinking about leaving? WARE: I think he is genuine. Believe me, he is genuine. He talked to me before he became a free agent. He talked to me two years ago about it. He calls me about once a week and talks about it then. I even said, "Hey, Ray, I'm tired about
OWUeagleMD
Eh. There's worse things in the world. Fact is, he put the Ravens on the map, made them a relevant team, won a Super Bowl, and filled the stadium with pure excitement every Sunday. Plenty of adults look at Ray the way they used to look at Unitas, and young kids will always see him as an example of what a football player is supposed to be. Plenty of fans are barking on talk radio about him and his comments on playing for the Cowboys, but they'll get over it in two years. Emmit in Arizona, Montana in K.C., Rice in Oakland, on and on... this is a lot of hype that won't amount to anything lasting.
[[ghost]]
Well if they plan on extending Ware this offseason, Lewis's dreams won't be coming true.
HeHateMe
While a little part of me believes Lewis, it's by and large a ploy to milk Baltimore for every penny. He's 34 and this is his last chance at a big pay day. He's doing whatever it takes to make the most of it. Can't blame him. If you're going to play anyone off your own team, might as well be the Cowboys because we all know how Jones loves him the big names.

RFKFedEx
I think Bmore's FO is too smart to get played by Ray Ray. The Ravens are a legit contender right now and paying Ray big would be a mistake. Bmore will win another Lombardi before Dallas.
Warhead36
Lewis can still play but if I'm the Ravens I'd much rather spend the $ on Suggs and/or Scott. As far as Lewis on the Cowboys...he could provide some leadership but you already got one attention seeking egomaniac on that team. Thats as combustible a situation as there can be. Symbol
I honestly feel he'll either be back in Baltimore or he'll be heading to New York to play for his old DC. I could be wrong, and when it comes to huge money contracts and the greed of men, I usually am.

jthor99
I hate Ray Lewis more then anyone in the NFL. But, if he REALLY did say these comments to D. Ware before a pivotal game this season then it's totally bushleague.

Remember, Jets salary cap situation is just about as bad as ours. I expect Coach Ryan to go hard after Scott, and Jim Lenoard hard this offseason. Taylor 36
That locker room will ignite if Lewis and Owens are there together.
