Califan007 The Constipated
What Redskins plays/moments would make up your top 10 plays of the last 10 years? I'm guessing both Santana's TD catch against the Cowboys and Sean Taylor's leap into the end zone against the Eagles that same year would probably be in everyone's lists. But what else would be up there in your eyes? I'm actually thinking about making a video if possible...so throw some ideas out at me.
Califan007 The Constipated
And by the way, it doesn't need to be one play or one moment, it can be a player having an outstanding game or series of consecutive games as well... Enter Apotheosis
Aside from what you already mentioned here are some other plays from the last couple of years that have stood out to me... Clinton Portis' first carry as a Redskin. Sean Taylor as a rookie beating out Randy Moss for a jump ball one-on-one. Sean Taylor as a rookie manhandling TO. Will Allen falling all over himself while Santana makes an excellent adjustment on a bad throw by Patrick Ramsey en route to another TD against the Giants in '05. Chris Cooley's long TD vs. the Panthers in '06 on a play called by Jason Campbell. Santana's OT touchdown against the Jags in '06. The Troy Vincent blocked field goal against Dallas in '06. expensivegift
Clinton Portis' first carry as a Redskin. The Troy Vincent blocked field goal against Dallas in '06. The 2 MNF miracle bombs from Brunell to Santana. LaVar's hit on Troy Aikman forcing him to retire A bad one would be the botched snap in the NFC Divisional playoff game against TB in '
NewCliche21
Portis's first carry. Moss's OT TD against Jacksonville in 2006. Monday Night Miracle. Taylor's consecutive fumble recoveries for touchdowns in 2005. The Hand of God 90 seconds. Taylor's game against the Panthers in 2006. Good idea for a thread, especially if you can get this video to happen.

Califan007 The Constipated
^ The Lavar INT (coupled with Rod Gardner's play at the end of that same game) was pretty much the only play/moment before Gibbs II that I could think of lol...there's got to be some other candidates from those years, though. As for exceptional games/consecutive games, I thought of Portis' 5-game stretch at the end of 2005, and Collins' 4-game stretch at the end of 2007. Thinking Skins
Honestly, I'd have to bring up the year we were deepest in the playoffs in this time span. Remember back in 2000, when we were up 13-0 on Tampa Bay? That was an awesome feeling like we could actually be a winning team. The Brian Mitchell return for a TD, the DG pick, just nice memories. Then we had the fubmbled snap on the FG that we shoulda made

Hey 1999 was a beautiful year, what about the perennial bust in Westbrook putting up 1000 yards? And even Albert Connell had a 1000 yard season. Its the last time I can remember us being an actually good offense.

It was AMAZING to me that he actually became a head coach!!! Based on what? That guy had name recognition, and thats it!
hail2skins
Well, since we are talking about 10 plays over 10 years, we can probably start by attempting to take a play from each year, and then doubling up on the seasons where we draw a blank. Therefore: 1999: Larry Centers TD in OT vs SF to clinch the NFC East Title 2000: Deion's punt return in OT to set up the GWFG vs. Tampa 2001: Lavar's INT vs Carolina to start the comeback that saved us from 0-6 2002: ROTFLMAO 2003: ROTFLMAO 2004: Clinton's opening day TD vs Tampa 2005: Santana's second TD vs. Dallas; Taylor's fumble return vs Tampa 2006: Santana's TD in OT vs Jags; Vincent/Taylor combo vs Dallas 2007: Tough to pick a single play from this season too (Collins to Yoder? I dunno) 2008: JC's bomb to NO in Game 2; Santana's punt return vs. Detroit Summary: Santana wins! Edit comment: Its actually pretty tough not to include a good number of the plays during that 2005 late-season run. Antonio Brown's return vs Arizona, Cooley's TD right before the half vs Dallas, Ramsey to Moss vs NYG, CP's TD vs Philly.

I couldn't believe Snyder dispatched that away after years of mediocrity. We finally had something and then he ripped it apart in one fell swoop. When he fired Turner we were still in the playoff hunt. Then we let Brad Johnson get away. We had a stable QB and then there came the line of horrible starting QBs soon to follow. smh. In Snyder's defense though, we were used to having a horrible defense during the Norv era, and we've basically now replaced having a good offense with having a good defense. Gregpeck99
Last memorable moment over last 10 years = BJohnson's TD toss to MWestbrook against the Panthers at home.
