sacase
Man what an awesome movie, I loved it. So much action and it was paced really well so it didn't slow down to much. As far as the "racist robots", if people think they were racist, then they are looking to get offended about something. They were just dummies, hell they sounded more like wanna be's than sounding black. Jazz from the first movie sounded black. As a black man, they didn't bother me one bit. G.A.C.O.L.B.
despite people's claims on here that the racist robots don't have a lot of screen time, people are calling into 106.7 saying that the majority of the movie contained them. i'm also hearing it pretty uncomfortable watching them on screen If even Chad Dukes is saying their racist then they're probably pretty racist. I have no desire to see this film anyway.

You missing out on a good action flick, Prime kicks ass....He was fighting Blackout, Megatron and Starscream at the same time, awesome scene in the forest. If you liked the first one you will love the second one.

ECU-ALUM
I'm going into it with low-expectations...I figure it's the ideal summer movie...turn-off logic and just enjoy the ride. The one thing I'm looking forward to is seeing my son see this and (hopefully) enjoy it.

jpillian
Just got back from a free showing of this. Huge transformers fan here (as a kid), and a die hard Michael Bay detractor. If you like what Michael Bay does with his films, you'll probably like this film. If you don't, you really, really won't like this movie. Every dialog is a cliche. Every sentiment is over-played. Every piece of shrapnel results in a fiery explosion. For me, that's not my cup of tea. I'll be passing on the third installment, even if it's free. TorresA
I liked the movie, I didn't mind the length ( I like long movies). I even thought it should have been little longer, I thought the end fight was too short. And no the plot didn't rival Shawshank Redemption, but I liked it, (semi-spoiler: I liked the fact the plot was around energon like the cartoon. When the 1st one came out I thought of energon cubes but thought would be stupid to do in a movie, I thought they did a good job of bringing concept in a movie) I didn't mind all the comedy relaf in the movie, but guess if I saw it again may get old. I liked brining in Devastator as mentionedand Jetfire. Over all fun simmer blockbuster IMO with good special effects. I could nit pick about certain parts of the movie that I didn't like or over played in other movies but movie has a whole was enjoyable.
el gorilla
I really enjoyed the film and the only people saying the twins were racist are white anyways. Why do they care how anyone is portrayed in a movie. It was all for comedy anyways.
ECU-ALUM
Overall it was all-right I had a good time... it's not "Casablanca II" but I didn't feel like it wasted my time and seeing the NSA guy get what was coming to him was great. The thing that really impressed me...it held the attention of my 5 year old son from start to finish...he hardly said a word and when the final battle happened he didn't say a word or move at all. Tastes Like Chicken
Michael Bay is 12 years old. Seriously. I enjoyed it and was entertained, but slapped my forehead 5-6 times, at least.

It was no Casino Royale, but it wasn't so bad. After reading about all the rushed production, last-minute script changes, etc., I'm amazed that QoS turned out as well as it did. Midnight Judges
It's as if the script was an afterthought. I thought the plot was pretty good. The story was good. The effects were incredible. The dialogue was B-movie quality IMO. And I can't even figure out why the parents had to be in the movie at all. They are awful.

I agree with this assessment. It's a good popcorn flick. The "racist" robots were a little cringeworthy, but it was better than I feared.
redskins0756
Just got back from a 10pm showing of it. I thought Michael Bay was bad, but people please save your money this time and do not go see this film. The entire movie is a visual effects spectacle with absolutely no plot, any ounce of good acting, or coherent direction. Now a film can still be "enjoyable" even if it lacks these things, but even the visual effects started to irritate me. The Decepticons all looked the same boring grayish tint, the explosions were distracting, and it was essentially a commercial for GM although this time it got more irritating than the first film (if you could believe that). The attempt at comedy was just juvenile and every line made me cringe. Megan Fox wasn't as dazzling as in the first film and I felt her screen time diminished. The two red and green Autobots were incredibly irritating and did not have one single funny line, despite their at least 20 attempts at racial humor. Why Bay felt it was necessary for the robots to talk more than they did in the first one baffles me, because the criticism of the first film I had and a lot of other people had was them speaking. Also the movie is listed as 2 hours and 24 minutes but it will seem much longer when you sit through it. Overall one of the most disappointing films I've had to sit through. I thought finally Michael Bay had started something good when he made Transformers in 2007. Boy was I wrong. He decided to scrap the plot, acting, and coherent direction that were in the first and instead create an overblown uninteresting action film that was like having someone bang pots and pans over your head while driving 60mph with the top down in a convertible. Just a terrible film and how anyone liked it beyond possibly the visual effects is incomprehensible.
