I like Carol of the Bells, and I like The Christmas Song, but my favorite is "Christmastime is Here" by the Vince Guaraldi Trio.

Its from the Peanuts Christmas special, and the entire soundtrack to that show is just beautiful. Highly recommend anyone picking up a copy of it..

Religious-Hark! The Harold Angels Sing

Traditional-Silver Bells

Pops-Christmas Time Is Here (instrumental version)

I like the songs and the format dc, so I'm gonna copy off your homework paper. ;)

Religious -- (More Advent than Christmas, but) O come, O come Emmanuel!

Traditional -- The Christmas Song, Tony Bennett style

Other (not really pops) -- Deck the Halls, Mannheim Steamroller

Purely religious it has to be Handel's Messiah (it may have been written for Lent but it's an Advent staple now).

For a carol it's The Little Drummer Boy.

Popular it's Elvis' Blue Christmas.

Parody, as much as I like Weird Al, it's Tom Lehrer's A Christmas Carol.

Boris was the narrator of the movie as well as the voice of Grinch, but it was Thurl Ravenscroft who sang the song,(I'll admit to googling that one. Forgot his name).

Tough one. So many to choose from, but will echo what others have said here.

Little Drummer boy by Bing and David

Winter Wonderland by the Ray Connif Singers

Mr. Grinch of course.

Holly Jolly Christmas by Burl Ives

To name just a few. There is also a haunting version of Silent Night I hear played on the local Park City radio station this time of year. It's done by an Italian female singer I believe. Shakes me up when I hear it.
