Old Bay
I heard Polin mention that London Fletcher reportedly was wearing a protective boot last night after the game as he left the locker room. Comcast post game show reported it, from what he said. Is there anything substantial to this?

HateYanksDukeCowboys
CSN's postgame show irritated the bejesus out of me. they spent a segment talking about London Fletcher's injury and how it looked bad as he left the locker room "wearing a boot and limping badly." They then went on to talk about how we stood no chance against the Giants without our defensive captain, team leader, stalwart, the sky is falling, end of the world injury to Fletcher etc....... then as the credits were literally rolling and they're signing off Chick yells over the musc: "Oh yeah, London Fletcher is apparently OK." great, thanks for that in depth explanation and report there CSN. Great job.
IbleedBnG83
This morning they stated on 980 that someone stepped on his foot and the boot was precautionary.

Burgundy&Gold4Ever
Coach Zorn just said in his press conference that it's London's ankle, and he's getting an MRI this afternoon. Fingers crossed that it's nothing!

Titaw
Per Jim Zorn at his Press Conference London Fletcher is in a Walking Boot. He had his ankle/foot stepped on and X-rays were negative, MRI scheduled for today. Doc Walker on the locker room stated that the boot is just a precationary measure and his sources have told him he'll be fine.

Burgundy&Gold4Ever
 How many threads are we going to have about this? Friendly advice so you don't get NNT'd: use the search engine, and if that doesn't come up w/ anything, scan the first few pages for thread titles that might address the same topic. DPEARSON
not true... we didn't say the sky was falling... we said if he'snot in there, would be very tough to defend against the Giants #1 points per game attack... unfortunately the Redskins told us right before the end of the show that he was okay. Don't kill the messenger.

Don't kill the messenger. Chick, try to see this from a viewer's perspective. You hear a report that a key player is injured and needs a boot for his foot, and then you listen to correct comments that it would be very bad for this defense if he can't play next week. You're left with that, and in the last seconds of the show, you hear a quick comment that London Fletcher is OK. You had no alternative to how you handled the situation because you didn't get the news London was OK until you were leaving the air. Nonetheless, I hope you can see how a fan would've liked a little more.
