skinsfan07
agreed. 100% Hall has fit in very nicely so far.
tyman21
We have 4 solid corners, and once we get a pass rush, that great pass defense will equate to wins

Ynot
Yes a pash rush makes the secondary even better!! Good to see Landry get one today.
vigilante
I'm all for Springs coming back next year as long as he takes a pay cut (which I doubt he will).
ACW
Landry's 24 Horton's 23 (24 in December) Hall just turned 25 Rogers 27 Smoot 29 Still missing someone  Can you imagine Sean, LaRon AND Horton?

I definitely think we have one of the best secondaries in the NFL, if not THE best secondary. Think about how many coverage sacks we have, or how many times we just straight up left our corners out to dry and they come through for us. Adding to what you said, I think if ST was still alive, we would hands down have the best secondary. No doubt about it.

I don't think we would have drafted Horton if we still had 21. Sean and Laron would've been the best but Laron and Horton is pretty damn good. DCsportsfan53
I believe, top to bottom, we absolutely have the best secondary in the league, no question. Furthermore, aside from dropped picks, no one has been better in coverage this year at the CB position than Carlos Rogers. This secondary is set for a good long time should Hall continue to work here and he gets re-signed.
Skinz89
we have the best secondary. imagine if ST was still there, holy crap talk about AMAZING, he was the man....

Stew
I hope we do what it takes to restructure or re-do Spring's contract to keep him and give us some cap space. I know that scenario would only happen in a vacuum, but its still good to hope. Springs is a great corner, and I was down on him in prior seasons. Springs is solid, but i know he's gone. bushwack
Imagine if Tryon turns into a solid corner in a year or 2 (yes I know it's a long shot, but humor me), that would give us Landry, Rogers, Horton, Hall, and Tryon all under 30 and Smoot at 31 if Tryon can come around in 2 years. I would think that group could be considered a top 3 secondary in the league.
kubstix
Our secondary is good but don't know about the best. Packers and Steelers secondary is pretty nasty.
#21Taylor4Ever
Other then the fact that we lead the league in passes defensed, we're keeping offenses under 195 yards passing with only 15 total sacks. The Titans would be a close 2nd, but they have twice as many sacks.
bushwack
I don't think we would have drafted Horton if we still had 21. I don't see why we wouldn't have drafted Horton if Taylor was still alive. We took him with a compensatory 7th round pick, it's not like we took him in the first 3 or 4 rounds. We got lucky and found a gem, and I think we would have done the same if Sean was still on the team. Would Horton still have the same effect? Probably not, since I doubt he would see the field as much, but we still draft him I think.

Rocky52Mc
We have 4 solid corners, and once we get a pass rush, that great pass defense will equate to wins SOLID!? Understatement. Carlos Rogers shut whoever the hell he was up against DOWN. He's done it week in and week out. I don't care what you say D.Hall was a beast before he came here and although he had a pick it'll take a little longer for him to truly fit here. Smoot is right with any WR, and Springs is the expert veteran. Not solid, and sorry John Madden, this defense isn't a bunch of joe's.
