Metskins
I have never met Larry Michaels and I think he does a decent job as a play by play guy on the radio. He is however a moron when it comes to offering insight. He just interviewed Jason Taylor on 980 and said that he played well. Uhh, I'm sorry....NO HE DIDN'T. He looked completely overmatched in rushing the passer and got bowled over on run plays as the Seahawks were able to run on the right side without much resistance. He needs to spend less time working on that fake tan of his because it's messing with his brain.
GibbsFactor
He's King Homer, what do you expect?

Metskins
He's King Homer, what do you expect? There's a difference between being a homer and just outright lying. If he would have used the word 'solid' or 'decent' then there might be room for debate, but he didn't. Then I just heard him say that the defense put a lot of pressure on Hassleback. Did I watch a different game?
Voice_of_Reason
Ok, I'm an official member of the Larry Michael should be fired club, but please let's do the guy a favor and spell his name correctly. Hopefully on his pink slip. Jason Taylor played ok, but they really just ran over him.
Hunter_R
I thought he sucked, so maybe the truth is somewhere inbetween.

playoffsplz
I think they should bench both the ends and let the young guys step up. Both of them aren't worth a crap.

I don't think it matters who the ends are when you consider the two bums in the middle.
Ghent
Jason Taylor is awful. I saw him make one tackle on a RB for a loss and that's it. He can't get to the QB and he's horrible against the run. If his name wasn't Jason Taylor he'd be riding the pine or maybe even cut. We're a better Defense with out him on the field... He made 3 tackles. But, yes, he did get pushed out of the play or just plain stood up a lot.

I know he has struggled through injuries, and he's tried to get rolling, but Jason Taylor has been a huge dissapointment this season. He did not look good against the Seahawks, if he cannot bring pressure, and also can't play the run, then I agree he is better on the sidelines rotating in from time to time instead of starting. airs0ft3r
Respectfully disagree. In a defense where getting to the QB isn't our best strength, the few games Taylor has been in have been pretty good. I'm fairly certain that in each game he's been in, he's had at least 1 sack. Did I watch a different game? They only threw 24 times. We had a high number of pressure plays that forced Hasselbeck to throw early rather than wait. I'd estimate on 8 of the 24 the pressure was impactful, whether by blitz or up front.
Jofizz
I'm a homer myself, but Larry Michael pisses me off sometimes with his blind homerism.
clskinsfan
I think he was the one that got the pressure on Landry's pick. Him and Horton collapsed the right side of their line and Hasseldork threw a pick.
Xero21
He made a couple good plays. Larry was probably so surprised to see him doing something that he confused it for very good playing.

I mean I hope they did, isn't that the purpose of blitzing? When they didn't, which was most of the game, Hasselbeck had all day to throw.

Rdskn4Lyf21
Hasselbeck was 12/24 for 103 yards, 2 INT and 2 TD - his second worst game of the year (6 total). We are doing something right...
