mithong1
saw him a LOT out there, was thrash hurt? or has he just taken over his spot? poor devin thomas, being demoted to a special teams player
HoyaSkins28
kelly was in a lot today. more than thrash so i would assume his role in significanty increasing.
NewCliche21
Uh, he actually looked good today. I'm impressed.
EnFoRcEr_uPu
I thought he played really well for a guy who hasn't played at all really. Even on that little 4th down catch, he caught it with his hands. (bigger deal than many think)
CRobi21
Had 2 nice catches today, and was open on more than those two occasions. Hopefully we continue to see him. Also didn't see him come off the field limping, and was on the sideline smiling as the game ended, a good sign.
SkinsMaster88
We look to have rotation going on for the #3-5 spots, which is fine by me. We need guys to step up and provide a good complement to Moss/Cooley.
No Excuses
What does it say about Thomas that Kelly can have every injury possible to man kind and still come back and play more than Thomas probably has all year.
Wyvern
Kelly seems to have great hands. He can catch Campbell's passes, even when they're off target.
shakinaiken
so the 8 games prior that Thomas played in mean nothing... i dont know... didnt see kelly do anything incredibly better than Thomas do...
MonkFan8
Once Campbell and Kelly get their timing down those fade routes and deep balls are going to be money. Oh, and his blocking was great, too. On one of CP's runs he completely owned the CB he was blocking.

da#1skinsfan
What does it say about Thomas that Kelly can have every injury possible to man kind and still come back and play more than Thomas probably has all year. It says exactly what we knew when we drafted D Thomas. That hes raw and needs a bit of time to develop.
2006Skins
Great to see. Sometimes talent just needs to get on the field whether they've caught up with the system or not. The guy has talent.
SkinsAllDay34
He was out there almost every play on the final drive. I guess Zorn trusts him out there
mi6
Kelly played well today, and with pracice will be a bigger part of this offense. Would like to see him, Devin, and Santana on the field. I think that this combination would give some defenses a problem.
mithong1
What does it say about Thomas that Kelly can have every injury possible to man kind and still come back and play more than Thomas probably has all year. when the team drafted kelly and thomas, they knew that kelly would be able to contribute earlier... thomas was very much a prospect because of his limited playing experience in college. HortonWho48
Kelly looked good today. Thrash wasnt hurt. My only criticism is on his fly route in the 3rd quarter he motioned inside to give himself some room along the sideline but then ran himself into the sideline and didnt have room to come down with both feet in. NewCliche21
That catch in the endzone, even though it was out of bounds, was an amazing effort and showed an awesome talent.
Hokieskins1
He was out there a lot today and looked much more natural then Thomas does
shakinaiken
how bad can Thomas be? i assume is his athletic ability is adequate, so it must be his knowledge of the offense, which i have trouble accepting... i mean i'm pretty sure Devin Thomas understands english, and im pretty confident he can read... so i dont understand what the problem is... fire3fighter4
NO!!! He was a wasted draft pick! End of discussion! Our draft picks are all terrible!
Hunter_R
Why doesn't Thomas get the run-down-the-sideline-as-fast-as-you-can play? He's faster than Kelly last time I checked, and that's not a difficult route to run. Whatever. If Kelly can bump Thrash out of the top 3 spot, so much the better. Maybe they'll stick him in ARE's spot and make ARE the z/slot/whatever receiver.
TSO
What does it say about Thomas that Kelly can have every injury possible to man kind and still come back and play more than Thomas probably has all year. It says that he is as raw as we thought he was when we drafted him. That's it. Stop insulting our players intelligence, especially when it's a rookie. Because in the NFL, if all you can do is one or two things, DBs can easily play you that way and take you out of the game. You've got to be able to do everything, and furthermore you've got to be able to do everything while looking the exact same when you're running no matter the route. We drafted Kelly knowing he was much more complete than Devin. Vinny said it a thousand times. Why is this difficult? You want a go route so bad? You've got to have a reciever who's route running both short and intermediate is respected for it to ever be effective. How many times have we seen Moss jsut beat someone deep by running a simple go route? Exactly. We usually see either a double move or a deep post. Oh most definitely a great catch, don't get me wrong i wasnt trying to take that away from him. He just needs to know where he is on the field. The corner did nothing to drive him to the sideline..he did that himself. but it will all come with just being out there and running the routes.
