hail2theskins3
The offense doesn't do better when he's in. Portis is leading the league in rushing and when he goes over 95 yards were 6-1. Today: Portis-29 car. 143 yards Betts-5 car. 7 yards 1 TD (TD came after a drive lead by Portis) Portis has proven he can catch out of the back field so don't even say that Betts is way better at that. Om
The coaching staff better get in Mr. Betts' face big time about situational awareness. The one thing---the ONE thing---he couldn't do in that situation was get caught up in traffic trying to fight for a yard he didn't need. The one thing---the ONE thing---that could have cost his team the game was going ahead and fighting for that yard anyway. Simply an awful decision for a veteran to make. No Excuses
McD5 is the only one who does it anyways and I don't think this will make him stop.
MustangSteve
Betts never was in his life time better then Portis, and never will be!
Warhead36
To hell with Kurt Warner or Kris Jenkins or Kerry Collins(WTF?). Portis is the most valuable player in the league. He has carried us all year. Dude deserves the MVP and he should never have to play in preseason or even practice if he doesn't want to.
rdskn4eva
Yeah Betts really drop a couple of notches in my book today. That was inexusable.

ohioskinsfan
I agree 100%. I'm not going to crush Betts because he has been productive in the past. But he was terrible today. HTTR
DeadExField
I wouldnt bash Betts, its his first game back getting some serious PT. When he is in stride he is a great downhill runner, hits the hole full of steam, I love to see the guy run. Now, him over Portis? Nonsense. But Betts is no chump, just getting back in rhythm. gutlead74
when he is not hurt he is fumbling, and he cant block 4 ****. i cannot believe anyone in their right mind would favor betts over portis, trade him for a second and pick up the center from psu! FanboyOf91
I worry that carrying the team on his back all season is going to wear him out for the paloffs
TheItalianStallion
Eh, I don't mind McD5. I think he's entertaining, if nothing else.
TSO
I was actually shocked that it happened. Betts has got to know he's got that reputation, and to do it there? That being said, we've got a team of guys who fight for each other. Springs came through there. I still love our Portis/Betts combo and I'll still feel comfortable knowing Betts will start if Portis can't go.
Special K
Portis has proven he can catch out of the back field so don't even say that Betts is way better at that. Haha! Dream on, this is ES
