tr1
I mean really? Let's be candid fellas. Every story I read about the pukes, I see Jerruh quoted about who's gonna and not gonna play. I read how one player who can't seem to make the lineup looks like Emmit. That he's into handing out game balls. Can any of you own up to the fact that Jerruh is basically an ass clown who has taken that once proud franchise of Tex Schramm and Tom Landry and reduced it to this gag franchise? Aren't you embarrassed? Reality check.

Hooper
I gotta say. I think Jerruh is kind of a joke. Not as big of a joke as Cerrato, but still a joke. And I think the Eagles GM is far from a joke. I've always thought he did a good job of building that team and keeping it competitive over a long period. But you know what? Jerruh may be a joke, but he's got three SB trophies a team stocked with young talent. So I don't think Dallas fans are all that embarrassed. And the Eagles, they got no trophies and appeared to have missed their super bowl window. With Romo sits to pee and Eli just hitting their prime, I think it's going to be tough going in the NFC East for the Kevin Kolb led Eagles. Even harder than for the Skins. So I really don't know what to think anymore.
Ken
I wouldn't trade him for anyone. The man cares about the Cowboys more than anything else in the world, I love that in my Owner/GM. Sure, he isn't perfect, but I really don't see any that are. Way to take the Emmitt quote out of context though..

tr1
Three Lombardi's . Ancient history. Bringing back the Landry years would be just as relevant. No playoff wins in a dozen years...now that's relevant. :rotflmao:

tr1
I believe Jones was the owner when the Cowboys won those three, so yes it is relevant. But he had much less of a role in the franchise then as he does now. He's a terrible football guy. Come to the light.
OWUeagleMD
Jerruh is a joke. So is Lurie. So is Snyder. Owners are slime. I've never understood why fans would feel compelled to defend the guy who owns their team. A fundamental hatred for your team's owner seem much more natural to me. bubba9497
the other JJ was the one most responsible for those 3 trophies, not Jerrah.... since he's had full control..... 12 years no playoff wins
doncherry
Ancient history.Bringing back the Landry years would be just as relevant. No playoff wins in a dozen years...now that's relevant. :rotflmao: How would bringing back the Landry years be relevant in a discussion about Jerry? Jerry was the owner for those three Super Bowls. They are relevant in any discussion about his effectiveness as an owner. Period. However, his grace period from those victories is pretty much run out. Also, to be quite honest, he seems to be acting a little more ass-clownish than usual.
BAFGA
I think Jimmy Johnson had more to do with building those three super bowls than Jerry Jones did. Didn't Jimmy split from Jerry over creative and philosophical differences? Switzer just gravy trained his ring on the back of a Jimmy Johnson created team. Now that Jerry has full control, he hasn't done much.

kingfish50
Three Lombardi's . Those 3 Lombardies were from Jimmy Johnson built teams. Name me one Lombardy that JJ earned on his own and Barry Switzer doesn't count. That was still Jimmy Johnson's team.
