Sonny Joe Hog
The Seattle game on Sunday may well determine whether or not the Skins make the playoffs. We'll probably need 9 or 10 wins to get in. We have 6 wins. If we lose at Seattle, then we must face the best team in the NFL, the Giants, the week after that. If we lose to the Giants (not a stretch to think that we might), then we need to win 4 straight to get to 10 wins or 3 out of 4 to get to 9 wins. I wouldn't bet on that happening with games at Baltimore and versus Philly among those games. Letting Dallas off the hook last week was a very big failure. Basically, it kept the Cowboys in the playoff race and made our road to the playoffs that much harder. The further bad news is that we don't play well on the West Coast. I can't remember when we ever beat Seattle at their place. Also, we play our final game on the West Coast as well, against SF. All of that has to change for us to make the playoffs. The bottom line is that we MUST win at Seattle.

IbleedBnG83
We lost to St. Louis at home. To be fair, we turned the ball over 3 times, but did really well on offense and defense. We just didn't finish. But the way we are playing now, I doubt if we loose to Seattle it would not be in the same fashion. We need to win with SOME style points. If we just squeeze one out, I still don't think its enough.
Kilmer
Seattle is not any type of key. It only has a chance of digging us a deeper hole. Beating Seattle does not make beating Baltimore, New York or Philly any easier. This is just one of those games that a playoff contender would win easily. RalphZero
The Redskins will lose to the Seahawks. The Seahawks are playing the role of poiler now that their season is over. The Seahawks will not let Zorn beat then in Seattle. The Redskins will have a tough time beating the Bengals. Forget about the other teams. 6-10 or 7-9. ST is my boy
Hey....we could always drop this game and the next game....then be forced to rip off 4 straight wins to go 10-6......usually works that way for us.
Brotherz
If we lose to Seattle, we have to be REALLY bad....enough said. From Pete Schraeger of Fox Sports: Washington at Seattle, 4:15 p.m. The last two times the Redskins traveled to Qwest Field, they lost tight playoff games in the Pacific Northwest. Losers of two straight at home, they'll need a road win Sunday to keep their flickering playoff hopes alive. Seattle will give their home crowd something to root for this season, though, with the 'Hawks' biggest win of the year. This one's for Holmgren. The Pick: Seattle 31, Washington 28 People can't jump off of our bandwagon fast enough. I hope we kill this team.

It's a key because it is a more winnable game than the three you mentioned. If we were to lose to Seattle, then we would have to win one more of the other three games than we would otherwise. 70Chip44
- Actually fellas, we probably need to win the the next TWO to be comfortable. The Cowpukes have cupcakes for their next two and we need to keep pace and stay ahead of them. Hopefully Tampa comes back down to earth with Graham going down. dexter's manley
Anyone who has watched this team play since week 5 and still thinks we will win easily either hasn't been paying attention, is a blind homer or doesn't know football. I am not saying that we won't come out and play very well, but there is no evidence over the past month and a half that that will happen. So if it does, it will have to be a surprise. The Seahawks are at home, playing against their former coach and for the pride of their current one. They have their starting QB back healthy. And at this point, ANY game is a challenge for this Redskins team. I expect to win, because I think the Redskins are better than the Seahawks, but I don't expect it to be by much. This is the type of game a playoff team wins, and wins convincingly. Unfortunately, we haven't looked like a playoff team since early October in Philly. They got off to a good start. The Steelers wrote the blueprint for stopping the Redskins offense. The Cowboys used that blueprint to do the same. I wonder what the Seahawks will do? Peregrine
The Seahawks are going to want this game, and we have to travel across the country for it. With this team not having played a good game for over 6 weeks, this one will most likely be hairy.
Soup
The Giants game is the key. If we can win that game it will be a huge spark for the team. Like last year with the giants and patriots playing in the regular season. The gaints got a buzz off that game and used it to win the superbowl. If the skins can get a win against the giants it will a huge boost.

We haven't given up over 30 points all year and we have played some of the top offenses in the league. What makes him think that we can't shut down the Seahawks horrible offense? We had no problems with the Saints, Cardinals, Eagles, or Cowboys the 1st time?? I think we win this one 27-10.
JeepRyder
I agree that this game is probably our season. We lose this and we are in trouble because I dont think we will beat the Giants next week. So that means we will have to win out against Philly, Baltimore, etc... We have to win this game.
