National Defense
This is embarrasing--who really things that S Heyer deserves to go to the pro-bowl? What this proves is that the skins have the most internet-savvy and active fanbase (Ty extreme skins), and nothing else. if this continues, fan votes will be weighted less in the future Look at what happened in the 2007 NHL all-star game, where an internet campaign got a long time journeyman player (rory fitzpatrick) the third most votes in the league. in fact, slate reported that the NHL secretely fixed the vote tallies to ensure that the internet joke campaign didn't win. just say no to the snyder marketing machine
Cheers, Beers and Mountaineers
Hopefully after the players' and coaches' votes have been counted, those who truly deserve to go to the pro bowl will go. Also, not to be a douche, but there's a thread or two on this topic already.

The reasoning behind the campaign is simple, last year the Cowbums sent 13 players to the Probowl last year. Players like SloZell Adams, Marion "I can't break 1,000 yds" Barber and Boi Toi Roi Williams. The Pro-Bowl is a joke so, we are just shining the light on a flawed system. RememberOsaka
I think that the Skins braintrust should worry more about winning on the field than making a concerted effort to encourage fans to stuff ballot boxes which only make up 1/3 of the decision of who plays in a meaningless exhibition game after the NFL season is over. gaskinsfan
Skins fans should vote for those players who are having great years and deserve it, and not for those who don't...
WSHRedskins3ATLBraves3
if this continues, fan votes will be weighted less in the future Great, the system is a joke right now. The coaches and players vote each other in and the leave the fans out of it. Vote the Redskins Ticket!
SWFLSkins
What this proves is that the Cowboys have the most internet-savvy and active fanbase, and nothing else. if this continues, fan votes will be weighted less in the future Fixed it fer ya, and yes Virginia The Pro Bowl system is a joke, and so is the NCAA BCS. You want any other revelations, just ask?
Peregrine
Actually this is a very good thing. After the Cowboys fiasco last year, this finally goes to prove that pro-bowl selection is a joke. Nobody payed attention to it last year because they love the Cowboys.
JaimeDeCurry
if this continues, fan votes will be weighted less in the future If nothing else comes from this than the fan vote being weighted less, then it will have been worth it. If the Pro Bowl rules continue to be a joke, why not exploit them for our team? Vote 'Skin in 08!
BoRnAndRaiSedSkinsFan
I'm actually glad Redskins are winning by a landslide. This should help ensure that players who would have been snubbed from selection might actually make it in....Fletcher or Los for example.

I think it's great that the team is supporting it's players like this!
Rdskn4Lyf21
How can people see these numbers and not smile and laugh. I mean, the Pro Bowl is a joke. In my mind, all Redskins are Pro Bowlers

It's Jansen. And frankly I'd rather see our guys there (even if some of them don't deserve to be there) than Dallas. I mean for crying out loud Andre Gurode couldn't snap the ball from shotgun without snapping it over Romo sits to pee's head and Roy Williams can't cover anything and yet, they were "Pro Bowlers" last year......London Fletcher and Mike Sellers didn't make it but those guys did:doh:

pjfootballer
Good. I think all fan voting in all sports should be taken away and let the players, coaches and FO personnel vote who gets in for Football, Basketball, Hockey and Baseball. How may years in Shaq going to go to an all-star game. Fans are dumbasses and only vote for their favorite players. I hope this changes all all-star voting.
