Heisenberg
Paying Howard Stern $5,000,000,000,000 dollars probably didn't help. He more than paid for himself with the subs he brought in. They probably should have paid him less but I'm not sure he would have accepted. He's not the main problem. RyansRangers
back in 2006 before they even talked merger niether one of them was even close to profitable and did not make one dime over expenses since thier existence. While I think they are great there is just not enough demand for them..

Heisenberg
That's what happens when you pay too much for a washed up Howard Stern.-Grant Howard is still the best thing on radio IMHO. However, once he made his huge payday his work ethic has declined considerably. The mismanagement of the company has been way more than Stern though (as stated before he single handedly saved Sirius by paying for himself - XM would have probably emerged as the sole Sat Radio company pretty quickly had Stern not signed with Sirius) - everything from paying so much money to Mad Dog to censoring a lot of the non-pop music stations has just lead to cancelled subscriptions and a lack of new customers. AsburySkinsFan
I had Sirius for a month, too much $$ not enough selection, too much talk. It was frustrating too because I REALLY wanted to like it and think it was worth it. Now I just listen to NPR/Public Radio on the FM dial.
