Blondie
I wanted to post something positive about the SKINS/boys rivalry. Zorn NEVER LOST AT TEXAS STADIUM. And since this is the last season there, his record will remain in tact. ;) OK. Let's look at what we have........and realistically........where we can go. We are 6-4. BEFORE the season, what EXACTLY did you think the record would be right now? I actually had us at 7 wins right now. Losing to the Giants, Dallas there, and Pittsburg. We are one game off. The pressure last night on Jason made him look like deer in the head lights. CP wasn't up to his game. Barber had 66 yards in the 4th. Who the heck would have thought that would happen? Seattle will be tough. They will know Zorn's offense inside and out. Watching the Pittsburg game and the game last night, our O line has been very exposed. I believe we can win it in a squeaker. The Giants at FedEx is another story. They are good. No fluke. No facade. As much as it pains me, Eli, who reminds me of someone who rode the short bus, is leading that team. They are getting it done. Then comes the Ravens, Cincy, and Philly. I think we can win all three. I think the Ravens will be the toughest of the 3. So, post a positive thought......and then your thoughts on the remainder of the schedule.
Blondie
I didn't see the other thread about the remainder of the schedule. Sorry.
Gibbs Hog Heaven
Positive thought: Outside of the Giants and TN, it's pretty much-of-a-much- ness around the League, so it's still well within our own grasp to make the post season. As for the remainder of the schedule, this week REALLY worry's me. I think everything hinges on this. I had this one marked down as a loss from the get go, and even given that Seattle are a walking train wreck, it's UP THERE, and we all know how well we do in Seattle. As for the rest, I really don't know how to call it. The Giants I think we take on the sheer emotional carry over of #21's induction, Coach Gibbs back in town et all. Then we go up the road to face that Ravens D, in their house. That will doubtless go down to the last play. The last three, I think we take, unless we lose this coming Sunday and confidence hits rock bottom. I'm still cautiously optimistic that Coach Z cures our ailments and gets this back on track, that glorious win in Irving is testament to what were capable of when he takes the reigns off fully, but we sure do need to work out butts off this week and sort out the O issues, or this will spiral out of control. Oh, and for the record, I had us one game better, at 8-2, with loses to the Giants and Eagles. (Figured we'd be so pumped to leave Irving on a high, we'd take that one.). So much for thinking home field would work out the last two games huh? Hail.
Skinz248
My positive thought: We are playing the 2-8 Seahawks. Funny you brought this up. This morning at work I looked at 4 teams schedules. Redskins, Atlanta, Dallas, and Philly. I feel that we will win vs. Sea, NYG, Cin, SF. The reason I have us beating NYG is because we usually split with them and I see us coming out edgy that day because of ST's ceremony. I have us losing to Balt and Philly. I could see us beating Balt, but I was looking at it from a worst case possible. The reason I have us losing to Philly is because once again, we usually split with them. Not too bad of a problem. We would end up 8-4 in the NFC, and 3-3 in the division. As for the other 3 teams, I have Atlanta going 8-8 (losing there next 4 games), Dallas going 9-5, and Philly going 9-4-1. I hope this scenario plays out (or better - meaning we win an extra game) because this would put us in the playoffs. And I don't mind playing Arizona in the first round of the playoffs. I was one of the people who thought it would take a year to get used to the system, and I expected us to be 5-5 at this point, AT BEST. I know we have talent but Zorn was HUGE question mark, and I think he has coached his ass off so far. LET'S GO SKINS!!!
Jimbo
I can't find anything positive to talk about concerning this team right now. I think I'll just take my ball and go home.

hail2skins
Remaining schedule as I see it: Probable losses: Giants, Ravens Probable win: Bengals Toss-ups: Seahawks, Eagles, 49ers I'm seeing 9-7, which would be a disappointment to me after the 6-2 start. If we can manage to rebound from this two-game skid and go 10-6 (or better), I'll consider the season a success, playoffs or no playoffs. I was much less optimistic than some of you. I thought this team was going to tread water the first few weeks of the season but then struggle mightily in the middle part before hitting its groove the last five weeks of the season. I didn't expect Detroit and Cleveland to be as bad as they are. I saw 3-7 for us at this point, in the midst of a four-game losing streak......on the way to 7-9. As I posted in Kleese's thread, I'm not exactly sure I like the notion of just being satisfied with yet another 9-win season. Its true that the league as its made up with the salary cap, etc, in my mind 10 wins is a good season. But at some point you have to give your fans something more to expect. The Skins are one of only three teams since '91 (our SB year) not to have posted an 11-win or better season. I thought we were possibly on our way at 6-2 (and still may well be), and would go a long way towards building expectations for next year. However, losing consecutive games on the big stage in back-to-back weeks is not how you build expectations. We'll see what happens at Seattle......I'll be in the live chat with bells and whistles!
