#21Taylor4Ever
I think it's painfully obvious that Marcus Washington is done, so now it's time to move on. I love everything he's done and has done for this team, but the injuries are starting to mount for MW. Hip, foot, legs, these are all injuries that could lead to long lasting suffering for him. I'm not saying cut the guy, but maybe it's time we use him sparingly during pass rushing downs. H.B Blades is probably a fan favorite, but he is a MLB and possibly a replacement for Fletcher. I honestly think we have a gem on special teams in Khary Campbell, so maybe it's time we try him out in MW's place. Blades needs a bit more seasoning, plus I think he can become a leader on special teams i.e Khary Campbell. The other option, and I'm sure people will ridicule it, is Jason Taylor in more of a Julius Peppers/Julian Peterson role with Evans staying at DE. Thoughts? fire3fighter4
Blades, no doubt. Taylor hasn't been as bad as people say he is..he's batted quite a few balls down in the time he's played...If he can stay healthy I think his play will improve. Blades look slow? I would rather see Khary Campbell or even Fincher next week. I think the should rotate all the DE: Carter, Evans, Wilson, Taylor, James, Jackson
CRobi21
Time for H.B. to develop into the full time starter.
DarrellsMyHero28
Blades isn't fast enough to be an OLB, Witten burned him and left him in the dust last night. He'll be a solid MLB one day, he's built like a truck and I would bet my life Fletch is doing a great job as a mentor.
IbleedBnG83
Campbell is too slow and too stiff. I like Fincher to get some playing time. I think he would be faster than Blades, but Blades is better than Campbell.

BurgundyBlood_85
Blades is solid, how can you call Blades slow because Witten burnt him? didn't he get the tackle? i remember marcus washington getting burnt deep by Witten for a td in the first game, is he slow? IbleedBnG83
McIntosh should be the only one allowed to cover anyone from our LB's, except maybe Fletcher depending on the matchup.
c4man5282
I'd like to see what Fincher could do. He opened up my eyes in preseason.
BurgundyBlood_85
I personally want to see Fincher get the startyes. witten is fast, i don't think there are too many LBs in the NFL that can keep up with him, let me think................ really can the average linebacker keep up with the average TE? don't expect an average LB to stick with a top TE if a top LB can't do it

Tom10Y
Yep, im interested to see campbell or fincher. I want fincher to get a shot since he was Horton-like in preseason. Blades is too short and kept on tripping why trying to cover Witten. One may argue, Fletcher is short too, but he makes up for it in experience. #21Taylor4Ever
Hmm, didn't think about Fincher. I guess I'm just hoping Campbell is to us what Pierce was to us. Fincher could work. ANYONE but Blades who is not an OLB.
brettstr
Is anyone here serious about the linebackers here. Blades as a replacement? Did you see his tackles? This linebacker crew is mediocre at best. Never consistent. Jello pudding. They should No Robust in my opinion. The D Line is absolutely pathetic. dustinwhylee
I'm all for giving Fincher a shot. Of course, I do believe that if he proved something in training, he'd be in the rotation. Look at Horton.
HitStickTaylor21
I'd rather us draft a SLB this offseason but I'd go with H.B. Blades to handle the duties for the rest of the year if Washington is out. I'd like to see Blades take over for Fletcher when the time eventually comes. Never4get#21
Fincher is a solid tackler, but as others have said, we are weak in coverage at LB. I would rather see more cobra packages with three safeties. If Springs returns he could provide some talent to that package at Safety.
