dwills1
Portis, Betts and Randle El should practice later this week and be able to play on Sunday. I missed the info on Springs.... and Marcus Washington will be out several weeks with a high ankle sprain.
santana_4_prez
We don't need to hear an update on Springs...he'll be questionable and won't play.
rdsknbill
Can we please just put Springs on the IR already. GEEZEZ

knowledge316
at this point, Springs don't need to be on the injury update...we all know what's going to happen...he won't practice and won't feel like he's ready to contribute and will stand on the sidelines laughing it up
Rypien1191
Good news on everybody else. Bye bye Marcus, nice knowing you. Not a big dropoff from Marcus to Blades, and maybe Kelly will take Marcus' spot on the roster this week.
fire3fighter4
springs need to be cut if he doesn't take a huge pay cut. He is costing us a lot of cap money to sit on the bench.

dreamshatterer
I love Washington. Just sucks that injuries has hit him and hit him hard. Wouldn't be surprised if he is not here next season.

NAC386
He is gone next year - Hall was brought in to replace him. If Hall replaces Springs, do you think Hall will be the #1 or #2? I agree that Springs has to go. I think the best way to do it is to have no true #1 and #2, but just have Rogers and Hall matchup against whoever they are best suited to cover. Rogers will usually be the #1, but I can see certain cases where Hall could match up better.

It would be awesome if Hall works out because I was thinking we may have to use our 1st rounder on a corner in the next draft. For now, it looks like Right Tackle and strong-side linebacker are big needs. Marcus -- bless him, he's a real warrior and brings great energy to the D, but his body betrays him on a regular basis. Blades was not very strong at the point and seemed to get pushed around.
TLusby
Springs obviously does not want to play. We brought D. hall in to replace him. Danny does not want to put him on IR or cut him because he will still get his guaranteed salary. Let him have to at least show up everyday and watch the team play. Springs is a great player who has absolutely no heart!

phishisthegreatstuff
I really hope marcus won't be back next year. hes a pretty good player when healthy... but thats only about 5 games a year. Were paying him way to much to play about a 3rd of the season. And theres no way were gonna pay springs to play 2-3 games a year either. BYE BYE to both these bums!! We need another LB or two, but I think Blades can become a capable starter.

Bantu
Our needs are going to be plentiful in the next few offseasons. A lot of our starters are up in age at all spots, especially OL, DL, and LB. I'm not too worried about LB cuz I feel like we can get quality players early or late in the draft to fill that need. Both lines need a massive overhaul. Its not a matter of depth or quality players here. Its about accumulating as many studs as possible. I think Chris Samuels is a great LT, and if he can stay healthy he surely has a few seasons left in him. That doesn't mean we shouldn't try drafting or signing an LT. PS. Get some DTs that can actually get penetration, please!!!!
