RedskinNutt
Hello Buddies, Since there's enough negative posts out there about the skins, I wanted to start something relatively harmless and possibly entertaining. Any fans of Opie and Anthony (featuring Jim Norton) and Ron and Fez on ExtremeSkins? Similar to "The Office" and other TV show threads on the tailgate, was hoping to hear from some fans of these two "shock jock" programs on XM/Sirius. Big fan of both since O&A were on WJFK feuding with the Don and Mike Show, and of Ron and Fez since their late night show on JFK. Hilarious radio when you're tired of listening to the skid marks on ESPN 980, or anytime.
ixcuincle
There's a guy called SteveFromYellowstone that is a fan of Lil' Jimmy...and I listen too. They took them off JFK , but I never really listened to them there , I just listen off the WKRK NY website. Those 2 are hilarious and provide insightful commentary on recent news topics such as political correctness. Plus they're always having the funniest comics on like Patrice O'Neal...that guy was guest hosting for Anthony today and was hilarious!
lovetoaster
I love both shows, but have not gotten a chance to listen recently. I got a different car and have not installed my radio in my new car. I need to get it done soon. I need to check out the new channel line-up and I miss O&A and R&F. RedskinNutt
Yeah, got an XM for Christmas a couple of years ago, just for those guys...best investment yet. I work on an military base from time to time, so I can't catch them here, so it's drive to work- drive home and all parts in between. Yeah, I've been chatting with StevefromYellowStone lately, which prompted me to create this thread. What's your favorite bit from either show? Favorite personality? I'm worship at the church of Ron Bennington...he's by far one of the quickest and funniest dudes I've ever heard.
lovetoaster
What's your favorite bit from either show? Favorite personality? I am a huge fan of Ronnie B., but my favorite bit has to be Anthony's impersonations. Tony Danza, Tom Brokaw, and my favorite, Walter Cronkite. I get it, you don't like him. I love his childhood stories that always seem to end with him crying like a girl.

Did you hear the one story where he was camping with one of his boyhood friends and the boy asked him if he wanted oral treats? Hahaha, Ant does have some great stories. I'm going to go pick up Lil Jimmy's newest book tomorrow, I loved the first one.
G.A.C.O.L.B.
I miss Ron and Fez. I gotta get my satellite radio hooked up. Never got into O&A. But I'm always partial to live, local shows (hence my dislike of Jim Rome) so that might have something to do with it.
Kosher Ham
I hate that there is no ol' school rap on Sirius/Xm anymore. It ruins it. I could care less about Oprah and Willie Nelson.
PokerPacker
I miss Ron & Fez. I listened to them from back in the days of Ron and Fez.com when they were on WNEW. I was so excited when they moved to Fairfax and WJFK. Used to listen to them every night. Best Radio show I've ever heard. Beats the hell out of Howard Stern and Don & Mike. roqnap1
O&A no...but R&F yes. I used to call their show before then went to XM...good times.
RedskinNutt
I'm a bigger R&F fan, but I love O&A too. Ronnie is an f'n genius, plus a saint with how he can handle that group of escaped mental patients he calls a staff. Ronnie's B's line of the day thread on wackbag is a must read for any true big ass card holder
