stevenaa
Clearly, the biggest offensive problem we face is the play of the offensive line. Is it coaching, scheme or sub par personnel? Does Buges get a pass, or is he part of the reason we've stayed with guys that can't seem to get the job done? I feel a bit sacrileligous saying this, but I'm ready to see him ride into the sunset. L30L
I don't....Buges is doing a great job with a bunch of old players...this is what happens when you don't draft....of course a bunch of o-line past 30 are gonna decline as a season goes on. ColdnGrey
Nope, its easier for dopes to call for Zorn's firing.
Fred Jones
It's like our players got old fast. Jansen is done as a full-time starter. Thomas has not regained his past form. Rabach was never dominant to begin with. Kendal is 35 and not getting any younger. And Samuals can't last forever.
Warhead36
Blame goes all around. Blame Buges for not coaching em up real well. Blame the players for being mediocre. Blame the FO for not getting some young blood. This organization is flawed from top to bottom. Hate to say it but that 4-1 start was a mirage. dg28daman
Don't get me wrong, I love Zorn and think he's doing a great job, and think that Blache has done a good job as well. I just can't help but think as I watch the Cowboys come down the field on us that if Gregg Williams was coaching the d we would have stopped them. Wiliams's defenses thrived in the fourth quarter it seemed. Even when Gibbs's offense was stagnent, it seemed that the defense never got gassed. I can't help but think what Williams would have done with this talent.

Should have kinda saw that coming. With a guy like Buges as a coach, the front office might lean a bit too much on what he has to say about the players. I just can't shake the feeling that we've passed on upgrading the line in part due to his evaluation of the line. Maybe a case of loyal to a fault or blinded by the relationships. I think the older you get the easier it is for sentamentalism to weigh in your decisions.

knowledge316
LOL!!! Williams is so overrated. People don't realize the skins defense was good before he arrived, aside from that one year with Edwards, where Edwards was in way above his head. Please take a look at the Jags defense this year......they suck and have dropped off big time from last year. This defense with Blanch is a lot better than any year with Williams. ntotoro
The D isn't the reason for the loss. The O's inability to sustain anything is the reason.

dg28daman
Please. Don't dare blame Blanche's defense for tonight's loss. No I'm not blaming them at all this one was surely on the offense. It's just that the defense got dominated on the last possession, and I feel like Gregg's defenses never seemed to get gassed. Maybe it's a conditioning thing? But think of how many times our defense made the stops and got the ball back for us.

rincewind
Really, wtf? How in the world can you blame that game on the defense??? The O-Line is 100% responsible for the loss tonight.

DieselPwr44
D was fine tonight. The only problem was they were on the field too dang long. The Oline needs a major overhaul.
TCO
The defense had little fault tonight. The offense consistently puts them in the position of having little to no margin of error. You can't expect this defense to throw a shutout or hold them to less than 10 points a game every single game they go out there. This offense needs to step up. I don't know what Zorn did over the bye week, but he definitely did not review this offense over the last few weeks and find the crap that worked and utilize it. RedskinzOwnU
The D isn't the reason for the loss, but I'm not going to delude myself into thinking they played well tonight, because they didn't. The 14 points don't tell the story. They got beat when it mattered. They also got lucky on several Cowboy drops or Tony Womo poor passes. Factor in two incredibly fortunate red zone interceptions (deangelo hall pick that TO totally beat him on and was poorly thrown; fortunate rocky tipped int) and Dallas left more than 10 points on the field. This game could have easily been 24 or 27-10.
Sekhmet187
How is Williams doing on the Jaguars? Oh yeah, that defense has looked horrible this year. And they wer ebetter than The Redskins last year. I dont think Williams was the reason for the Defenses' successes. I think they're just a little more talented than people thought. DaveMason
Nobody's blaming Blache's defense for this loss. They did a great job overall. ...but four minutes left in the fourth quarter, and they can't get a stop? Really? Gregg Williams seemed to always give us a 3-and-out when we really needed it. (Our offense would then screw it up and lose the game, but whatever.) Marion freaking Barber never ran all over us when Williams was here. What in the world happened? And now our playoff chances are pretty much killed. We will not beat Seattle next week. Doom!
Mooka
I think you have a short memory friend. These are exactly the type of games we would lose where people would scream about how overrated Williams is.
