RonArtest15
I'll be going to Jaco in December for a couple of days. I was wondering if anyone has been, and how the experience was....
Teller
Has anyone been to Costa Rica? Well, I'm sure someone has, otherwise, you'd be less of a vacationer, and more of an explorer.

I have never been however, my good friend takes a trip to CR quite a bit and enjoys it even more with each visit. Have fun!
DeanCollins
I made several trips, and owned beach property there in the '90's. Apparently Jaco beach is a lot nicer than it used to be. I wouldn't let my dog take a dump there back then
10fttall
Picture a Mexican tourist city with less sombreros and tacos.
Capt Rich Fla
I'll be going to Jaco in December for a couple of days. I was wondering if anyone has been, and how the experience was.... Jaco is an American truck stop with out toilet seats. It's a dirty surf camp where all the young kids go and basically camp. Go to Costa Rica. Not Myrtle beach south. Capt Rich Fla
Didn't mean to use so much venom about the place. It's just that where everyone goes and when they get home they all get this Costa Rica story, when they were surrounded by gringos the whole time. If you want to do Costa Rica, land, rent a car and a map and just drive there are alot of things to do there. The people there are of the nicest people in the world. You can stop anywhere and the Costa Ricans will bend over backwards for you. Not like in Mexico when that hand is coming out for something sooner or later.
