How Safe Is Late-Night Metro?

i don't know why people think the area is "unsafe" i grew up in and around Landover and can tell you that you don't have anything to worry about.

i think you're taking the wrong line though. you need to transfer at stadium armory and take the blue to morgan blvd or largo town center.

Dont listen to this guy. I'm sure he never lived "in" Landover as you see he is from Mitchellville. I used to live in Landover and it is a bad area. If I were you, I would drive. I would not take the metro late at night. Take the safe route.

man stfu because you don't know what you're talking about. first, people grow up and move away from home and second, the guy is talking about the area around the subway station.

if you're from landover, tell me where the station is located, and tell me if it's in a residential area? no, it's not. he's not trying to walk to the stadium from the station.

forget him.

metro to largo town center or morgan blvd...catch a cab to the stadium and you're set. the cab will cost about 5 dollars, 6 tops. you can still walk if you want to. it's about 3/4 mile to a mile depending on which and there will be plenty of other fans doing the same.

Do you love your girlfriend?

You should drive. :)

Just kidding though. Late night metro isn't bad, especially when coming from events. There's going to be a huge amount of people on the train with you. The only reason I'd think it wouldn't be safe would be if you and your girlfriend were Cowboys fans and the Redskins lost.

I drive, but it's only because I think that the metro is a huge inconvenience to my tailgating habits.

Y'all are full of ****. The metro is fine. I got on there and some thug tested me and his punk ass got off the next stop. Just ***** slap everyone and you will be ok.

I used to have a bad temper and not care, now I think before I act because I got a baby girl to think about now.

All of the metros are safe after events, you will have a lot of people on the trains with you, no worries. Just dont get on the green line late on night all alone heh

Don't tell me to stfu, *****. You sound like an uneducated fool. Most parts of PG County is not a good area, so it is good advice to not take the metro late at night. I have known people in Landover that has gotten robbed and killed. I'm not telling him to fear his life, but if I personally had the choice to drive, I would. It will be nice for you to stop giving him misleading information. I know that you are not from Landover, so stay your faggot ass in Mitcheville please and stop talking ****. Thanks

b.s. grew up in landover from age 3 to 17 and went to fairmont heights.

the OP has nothing to worry about. we are talking about the train and the train station itself. you on the other hand are probably looking at cherry hill, kent village, palmer park etc. and he's not even going there. i'm not giving him misleading information, but you, sir are misreading the context of the thread.

i'm in largo now, and i ride the metro to and from work, work evenings and often take the last train home after 12am. there's nothing to worry about there....this isn't new york. so i know a thing or two about late night metro. so, i'm speaking from experience. you may be speaking from experience too but it doesn't pertain to this topic.

Your post is unacceptable on a couple of levels. It would behoove you to figure this out. This isn't the first time you've put yourself in the fool's chair. When you get back, I'd advise you to do better if you wish to enjoy a long and happy posting life on ES. :)
