Heisenberg
I was just wondering if there were any Sirius subscribers here and what they thought of the new channel line-up that started today. I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with what they've done so far and am enjoying some of the new/reformatted stations.

JeffSchmeff
I didn't realize that was what had happened. I know my receiver downloaded something this morning, but I just kept it on the same channel. I'll have to check it out after work.
Kosher Ham
Say it isn't so. I listen to Backspin every Saturday. I will be pissed. I am listening online now, but to Maxim.

Heisenberg
they got rid of fungus, the only station worth listening to. subscription cancelled. Fungus? EDIT: You may want to check out Faction first - it looks like they were pretty much the same channel and Faction is a pretty good station.
greenspandan
oh i guess fungus was actually XM, my bad. sirius ditched their only punk station last year, also, if i'm not mistaken. pointed complainers to their "action sports and alternative" station instead, which is puketastic jock garbage. Heisenberg
No foxsports radio. Yeah I saw they have Sporting News Radio - why no Fox Sports Radio, what a bummer.
@DCGoldPants
Yeah I saw they have Sporting News Radio - why no Fox Sports Radio, what a bummer. I know. I wanted to listen to Czab in the morning.
USS Redskins
I pretty much only listen to Howard 100 and if he is in commercial, NFL or the new Zeppelin Channel. It's great but once Stern is gone, then so is my subscription. On Fridays I just listen to CD's.
Dictator
Yeah I saw they have Sporting News Radio - why no Fox Sports Radio, what a bummer. I always thought SNR went the way of the dodo and was replaced by Fox.
MintHillSkinsFan
My wife just calle dme and asked me if they switched us from XM to Sirius. She said the channels are named differently now. Did they combine the two lineups finally?
BigRay
Not a Sirius subscriber but I am an XM subscriber think the new line up is pretty cool.
zoony
I usually only flip between the BBC / Howard Stern / Lithium / Outlaw / NFL - occasionally comedy. So I didn't notice anything this a.m.
EersSkins05
I was a Sirius subscriber for years until the merger, when I found out I could get Howard Stern and the NFL on the XM that was installed in my car, so I switched. IMO the XM music stations couldn't hold a candle to the Sirius stations (with the ginormous exception of AC/DC radio), so I was extremely excited to turn on my dial today and see Octane, the Spectrum, and E Street Radio. Best of all worlds for me right now.
Heisenberg
I see Hot Jamz has been replaced with The Heat - I'm assuming they are similar. The new 90's station is pretty good.

Hot Jamz is more urban r&b where The Heat is more crossover R&B/Hip Hop but you will hear a lot of of the same artist there might be a few artist that would get play on The Heat but not considered urban enough to be heard on Hot Jamz see what I'm saying ?
