Capt. Kaos
First off let me say that everyone that was touched by this tragedy is in my thoughts and prayers... That being said.... Anyone else find that soundbite of the lady nearly in tears begging someone for help annoying??? I would not find it so bad if she hadnt decided to ride out the storm after a mandatory evacuation had been implemented. Does she think it was a joke?? On a side note: just heard that rescue workers are reporting that the majority of people being rescued from Galveston are stating that they stayed because they had no other place to go.... WTF!!! A bus station inland would be better than sitting there!! Again no disrespect to those affected, I just dont understand how you are gonna ride out a storm like this and then beg for help! Peeping Wizard
I agree. When you have been warned, then warned, then warned again, it's tough to have an abundance of sympathy for you.

EersSkins05
The woman in question was (if I recall correctly) noting how she'd lost everything and the water had gone up to a certain level on her car. Some people can't be saved from their own stupidity.
Kilmer17
I have less for her than I did for Katrina victims. At least they could play the dumb card. She had to know what happened during Katrina, and still CHOSE to ignore warnings. Too bad.
