Cannon2
Did anyone else who attended the game notice how many people were being treated for heat stroke. I've never seen anything like it. It was about 105* heat index and sitting in the upper deck felt like the Sahara. With all of the elderly and young fans we have I think it is a crime to be charging $5 for a bottle of water. At halftime I saw 2 elderly men faint in the concourse. The EMTs were on the scene quickly but it seems like stuff like that should be avoidable. Hose us down for god's sake! Farm animals are treated more respectfully. Has this ever come up before? Does anyone have a reasonable solution or a method to improve the conditions? Just wondering... Anyways the game was incredible otherwise. Few Saints fans were obnoxious but Santana Moss made quick work of them. I don't think I've ever enjoyed watching the 2nd half of a game in that stadium more so than I did today. HTTR. Never stop fighting.

Cooley4President
This is one of those days where I'm happy to sacrafice the small section of the field that's blocked by the pillar to be in the shade in the obstructed view section. MSJHWT
I'm pretty sure they were only charging a dollar for water? I sent my brother out for sodas twice, he came back with two waters with them the second time told me they were only a dollar each?

Capt. Kaos
I think today was the closest I have actually came to melting! For a fleeting moment just before halftime I was contemplating calling it a day. Just as the wife and lil one came to the rescue with 2 big *** cups of the most glorious chunks of frozen water I have ever laid eyes on.
renaissance
It was hot as hell in 425 and of course had we been on the opposite end of our row we would have had the shade of the lights Anyway, my only request would have been for them to sell some effing water in our section instead of just beer. HOF44
I wanted a cup of ice. Five dollars they wanted for it. Crazy!
bootzilla
Even in the 200's section, i sit in 227 and it was hotter than the devil drawls.
tizzod
The vendors in my section were more than generous with handing out ice if you asked for it.

RedBeast
Ummm 424 here...Pretty simple stuff people Check out the weather report the night before. (Fair skin people - Sunblock) Wear a hat, wear sun glasses, shorts (commando - let the boys breathe), thin light color shirt (ladies no bra - let the girls breathe :>0 ) drink water and lemonade. Spend half time in the shade. Just fine, all day...Just a bit of sweating...Actually I think the opening game three years ago seemed hotter... I followed all your advice including drinking 4 waters at $5 a shot and one sprite at $6. I didn't take a piss until 4 hours after the game....I sweated it all out. I always stop at the bathroom on the way out and NEVER buy anything to drink normally. It was NOT a normal day. This was easily the hottest and most humid game in my nine years of being a season ticket holder. I actually was having trouble during the first half with balance and a heavy chest......I chalked it up to dehydration.....felt much better in the second half when the breeze kicked up. The game was great but the weather was a b**ch. For us older folks, it was not easy stuff. I always scoffed at all the heat exhaustion stories among the elderly. I now understand the feeling....and have greater respect for how the heat and humidity can affect older folk. There must have been 10-15,000 empty seats in the upper deck alone the entire game. I had people on either side of me leave by half time and never come back....I'm sure it was the heat since some tried to return but then left again. Morpheus'skins
Setion 420 here. Sun on me 100% of the time, and absolutely no shade. Water $5 a bottle (WTF!!!! $5) Yes it was hot as hades but well worth it to see a great game...
Pit Rott
ditto 420 here. my grandmother spent most of the time in the bathroom trying to cool down. I just thought about it, but I haven't pissed since this morning. :-)
Raub
A dollar a bottle? We were paying $5 a pop. Between the wife and I, we spent $40 today drinking WATER. It could be a LITTLE cheaper. I'm sure it doesn't cost $5 to distill my bottle of water. It was hot, but I think the Ravens' preseason game from last year was hotter.
MSJHWT
I'm not sure if maybe all the vendors didn't get the memo or something, but I just asked my brother and he confirmed, the 20oz bottles of Dasani were $1 at the food stand outside of 428, I figured they were selling em cheaper because of the heat. Walking Deadman
......y'know it was nasty weather out there today and sometimes it's better if you're not there than risk your health. People have to prep for the heat just like rain or snow. I know I tried to pass the word here and on RR about the heat and I want to personally applaud the ES/RR tailgate for having a boatload of bottled water for the tailgaters. Yes, it was $5 for bottled water- I bought 2 bottles myself during the game.

Yeah, the communication was all broke. I'm in the 200 sections, and I asked for water, the first person sold it to me for $1, the second time, they wanted 5 and I told them that I thought they had changed the price and they should go check and get back to me. The girl did, and it was $1. I gave her a $4 tip for checking, though. The other people in the section got their's at $1. So I think that they tried to lower the price, but it wasn't that effective. mcees4life
In section 432 it was hot as hell. I had a severe headache after the game. I'm glad I was smart and drink no liquor before and during the game. I wouldve been done.
