E33Green
Here are some of the Saints fans' reactions: (from nola.com) "the redskins are a joke and with (sic) was a winnable game." "way to earn your money sean, with a loss to the sorry ***** redskins, and i dont want to here (sic) about injuries, we flat out got out coached." "You play "D" and pound the ball to control the clock. If you don't have either you loose (sic) to a team like the Skins. This was a mid level opponent for us as the half time score dictated." "It is time to have THIRD (gold) JERSEYS available for days like today. This was a factor later in the game, especially with the time of possession. The same thing happened last year in week 2 at TB with wearing black. It is very hot and muggy here up in the Northeast today and I live north of DC. Carolina has the baby blue that they use effectively." (Jesus Christ, is this guy serious! Blaming the loss on the jersey color!?!?!?!?) "This (sic) D C Boys are not very good and our offense should have spanked them bad...more Meachum and Thomas...and a little better blocking." "I'm so pissed its a shame, that was an easy win for us... how come these egotistic coaches have to blow it??" "[sean Payton] is simply to (sic) dumb, after today he deserves to be beaten with a ball bat." (Way to support your coach fellas...) "...our D Backs are not that good to let a mediocore (sic) QB sit in the backfield all day and pass at will." "I think some of the fans here are missing the point! It's not that we expected a undefeated season, but we do and should expect our team to beat a inferior team." (Haha, "inferior" team...) I thought our fans were bad, but these N.O. fans make our chicken littles look like Saints!
APBT
Wow I guess we suck if Saints fans say we do. They have a pretty good QB and an over-rated HB that should be a receiver. They should be patient, they will get back to their Superbowl calibre ways. LOL
Critz1407
Its kinda of expected after last weeks performance from both teams. Our D is better than they expected. That and with JC growing a little and thier defensive injuries before and during the game it would have been hard for them to pull this out. Gibbs Hog Heaven
Maybes they ARE our "chicken littles", venting their anger over there as they can't here after today with a straight face. *Mischievous me :halo: Hail.
dcnativenerd
Ahahahaha! That's right! You are, and always have been, a rotten team and the highlight of your entire existence was Tom Dempsey's friggin' field goal. (With apologies to CSF and other cool Saints fans we have here)

I just find it hilarious that they think they're a Super Bowl caliber team when they've never even been to one in their entire history! Nothing pisses me off more than when a fan of a joke franchise tries to pretend they are one of the more storied NFL franchises! (ie. Saints, Seahawks, Eagles, Bengals, etc.)

We do the same thing about Carlos Rogers, Zorn, and others. Heck, I trashed Jason Taylor all week.

Lar0n Landry
ahahah salty Aints fans. I love it listen to this one We should switch Bush to CB and Brunell should be starting over Bress. Maybe we can sign Chad Johnson. lol

morpheusmeyers
The inferior team comment was my favorite. We were in the playoffs last year. The Saints were 7-9.
MD.C RedskinsFan
The thing that bothers me about their posts is that they are SO sure that the Redskins are inferior to their Saints. It's impossible that the Redskins (a playoff team last year) just might be better than they thought. <---Sarcastic comment in case anyone was wondering Instead they proclaim: "the joke Redskins" "to a team like the Skins" "a mid level opponent" (as opposed to a high level opponent like the Saints?) "not very good" "an easy win for us" "an inferior team" The Redskins aren't the best team ever but I don't think you can objectively say that the Redskins are flat out inferior to the Saints. Oh no! this win for the Redskins was not an "upset" over a superior team. Not at all! This win was not a shocker. <--- Non sarcastic comment in case anyone was wondering
HigSkin
Did anyone else notice the Saints fans at the stadium and their attitude? I had like 3 different stupid experiences with them. First, one drunk one turned around and flipped my sister off. She was probably the least aggressive person in the stadium. Second, there was a guy a few rows down from us who just stood, turned around looking at the guys in front of us trying to pick a fight. After the game ended, he jawed at the Skins fans the whole walk up the steps. Then, in the parking lot they would not stop taunting as if they had won the game. It would have been easy for them just to walk on. I've always felt sorry for their city and what they've been through but their fans today were buttheads. Much like the posts they have been listed. kvarlo12000
I am a Redskin in saints country with a inlaws as saints fans. My father in-law just came over and was complaining about the refs! In perticular the reggie bush taunting and a holding call by the saints in the redzone I can't remember that one can someone fill me in. I thought the game was evenly called except for the no call on tackling santa moss. Any thoughts would be nice.
Califan007 The Constipated
(Jesus Christ, is this guy serious! Blaming the loss on the jersey color!?!?!?!?) He didn't blame the loss on the jersey color, he said it probably played a factor in how the team wore out sooner...which it very well may have. It's why the Skins chose to wear the white jerseys on such a hot day...might have played something of a roll down the stretch.

E33Green
Wow, I can't believe you give credence to that argument. Blaming the jersey color in the heat is an even worse excuse than blaming the refs!

E33Green
Sic is a Latin word meaning "thus", "so", "as such", or "just as that". In writing, it is placed within square brackets and usually italicized—[sic]—to indicate that an incorrect or unusual spelling, phrase, punctuation, and/or other preceding quoted material has been reproduced verbatim from the quoted original and is not a transcription error.
