Football Analysts take it to far sometimes..

I have been following the story about Vince Young and his problems with depressions and it makes me sick to listen to analysts share their opinion on what they think his problem is. Stick to Football! I wish they would keep his issues quieter. Talking about how hes thinking about committing suicide on national tv is going to make things worse. This is an issue between him, his family and his friends. I just cant believe how inconsiderate they can be some times. I feel bad for his family and friends that have to turn on their tv and listen about how there loved one wants to end his life. Its horrible.

isnt it illegal for a dr to talk about what a client says in her office? if he was a serious threa then she should have had him put in a hospital but this is just gossip and it violates the dr/patient confidentiality code I believe.

and the fact that ESPN is treating this man's obvious sad mental condition as a reason to plaster everything about him across the TV every 2 minutes is just ****ing sickening.

I think his doctor just spoke with the police, and the police put what (s)he said in their police report, and the police report is what the media got.

But yeah I agree. Pretty low.

Maybe someone should send Vince a care package. Care packages always chear people up. Maybe you want to include music, everyone likes music, maybe a cd by The Cure. A good movie, who doesn't like Ashton Kutcher in The Butterfly Effect (Director's Cut). Something to drink, nothing like a fifth of Southern Comfort. Razor blades, the man's gotta shave. When you look your best you feel your best. Those are just a few ideas. ;)

I thought it was against the law to talk about what Vince said in his therapist session to. I mean I know you have to let someone know as soon as he talks about suicide and I believe you do have notify the police. But I just dont understand why the police would speak to the media about this. Have some respect for the guy. I enjoyed watching young in college and Id like to see him have a little success in the NFL. This is one of the worst starts for any QB out of college.

whats sad is that if he does really have a problem he wont trust anyone to speak with now. because his dr is telling cops stuff and theyre telling the media. his own mom is in it even...
