WVUforREDSKINS
Because being a Muslim is oh so bad  I know right. Reading the comments on here you would think that it is. Why else would so many of the right wingers here us it as a smear/scare tactic. You obviously misunderstood. I made that last comment, which had nothing to do with anything else, because smoot had a thread where he stated he was shocked that people had quoted him and said "I can't believe I agree with you." Smoot has stated that he isn't sure what Obama's religion is and thinks he may be muslim. I said the last comment because that would give us two things two agree on. I am aware of your beliefs and the last of my intentions was to offend.
Jumbo
<edit>...even totally false stories can implant themselves forever in the public consciousness, and completely reshape a person's public image. Welcome, pilgrim. My suggestion: just pull up a chair, sit back, relax, and watch the passing parade. (that's a well-know line in some circles--the origin will remain anonymous )
Larry
Not W, his father. Oh, and it never actually happened, but it's a great example how even totally false stories can implant themselves forever in the public consciousness, and completely reshape a person's public image. Thanks for the info. Frankly, I really had trouble believing that story when I first heard of it. But when it stayed out there, and I didn't ear it refuted, I began to assume it was true. Thanks. Predicto
Thanks for the info. Frankly, I really had trouble believing that story when I first heard of it. But when it stayed out there, and I didn't ear it refuted, I began to assume it was true. Thanks. Yep. It's right up there with "Al Gore claimed to have invented the internet," and "Bill Clinton grounded an entire airport so that he could get a haircut." Sadly, all the horrible stories about Bush Jr. are true.

Capt. Kaos
Still waiting to see anyone show me where it says McCain can't use the computer. I havent found anything that tells me that he doesnt have the knowledge to send an email. Just that he prefers not to and has been lucky enough to this point for it to not be an issue in his life. I kinda wish I had that luxury sometimes. I have friends that live right around the corner that will email me. Friends that would rather text than call and say hi. Call me old fashioned but I like the fact that he has managed to stay away from the email/text craze.

Larry
If he can't use a keyboard, can we really trust him to push the button? Or answer the phone at 3:00AM?
mardi gras skin
It does not matter if you want Obama to win or if you want McCain to win, you have to look at the ad and see it has a big potential to back-fire.The ad shows McCain not being able to do e-mail, utilize his computer, etc. On the surface (especially to young people), it makes him look bad. What the folks who wrote this ad failed to see is that there are a large number of older folks, AARP and the like, who relate to McCain in this ad. They are the largest single voting block for one reason - they vote, period. This ad mocks them (as many of them relate to the 'computer problem'). Just my :2cents: Yep. Its not a smart move to mock the AARP constituency.
Tulane Skins Fan
I think you mean Stephen Hawking. Yes, yes I did .... although I bet Richard Dawkins can use one too. this is stupid. took the words out of my mouth.
skinfan133
Not being able to type and not KNOWING how to use email are totally different.btw, I'm willing to bet that Richard Dawkins knows how to use email. not really. the way I see it, if you couldn't type when there wasn't email, then when it came out, why would you bother to learn about it if you knew you'd never use it? this is a completely stupid issue, as is every other ****ing thing mentioned in this election. things that don't matter AT ****ING ALL. who the **** cares if any of this **** is true? if he can use his pen to sign good and constitutional legislation I don't care if he's paralyzed or has any myriad of problems.
