Soup
If your a new redskin fan than you don't understand this in not just a JC issue its an issue that has been going on for a long time now. The redskins have had a big issue in finding a QB. During that process the team has become a shell of what it once was. Most of the backlash is the fact the team has not been doing well these past 17 years since the superbowl win and fans are just frustrated that JC is just not the answer. Fight for ole DC
Despite my recent skepticism of JC I still support him as long as he is a Redskin, so count this Arizona fan in.....pending approval of the OP, of course. Burgundy&Gold4Ever
Good perspective! You know that rookies don't just jump in there. CB should get his chance down the road. Welcome to ES! I forgot to add that JC has the support of someone in Maryland.

Fact is, we still don't know if he is or isn't. Obviously he doesn't look good right now. But you can't hang him after one game. Some guys start slow and end fast. Let's see if JC is that guy before jumping to "he just isn't the answer".

Its where my unit is based. When I get back, I'd like to watch some games. Then again, they pretty much start at like 0800 don't they?

Then again, they pretty much start at like 0800 don't they? There are tons of sports bars here, right now the early games start at 0700. After the daylight savings time on the mainland changes, the early games start at 0800. It's the perfect place for him to develop as an NFL quarterback. The Redskins have awesome loyal fans, they're smart and nothing escapes their scrutiny. I'm proud to be counted in their ranks as a ES fan. Welcome aboard Warrior808! HTTR!!:logo:
percival
I am a Colt Brennen fan from Hawaii and a newbie and I support Jason Campbell also. JC is a good quarterback and he should be able to work out whatever problems he has with Zorns help. Colt is new and still needs to get familiar with the NFL and the team. My opinion is that Colt will be better than Jason Campbell eventually but if he plays too much too soon, he will have a rough time getting up to speed and may be badly injured as a result. Colt will have his time. Now it is JC's time.

We have a lot invested in JC and would prefer he became a franchise caliber QB rather than a seat warmer for Colt Brennan. I admit I wasn't a Brennan fan leading up to and even after the draft. However, he dons the burgundy and gold and I therefore want him to be successful even if things do work out with JC. Just so long as he doesn't go to Dallas, Philly, or New York! By then Colt would be hopefully ready to head the team.

If Colt does have the talent to play in the NFL, there's no way he sticks around until JC retires. He's gonna go somewhere he can play. Also, as someone pointed out, if JC plays till he's 35, Brennan won't play till he's 34 under that scenario.

Exactly. If Brennan succeeds where Campbell could fail, then I'd support him as a Redskin even though I'm not the biggest fan of him in general. As long as he takes our team to another Lombardi, I don't care if Pauly Shore is our QB. Well, I might a little.
