Righteous Kill gets trashed by critics

Apparently this movie is awful.

Sad that Pacino would let that putz that directed that garbage movie "88 minutes" drag DeNiro down .:doh::doh:

Listening to critics made me stop appreciating movies and my own opinion. Everytime I would go to a movie a critic's comments would be in the back of my mind. It's a complete mind****. Critics hated Grandma's Boy and I thought that movie was funny. I watched Street Kings and loved that movie but the critics hated it. So I stopped reading critics reviews about a year ago.

A lot of the time when casts are TOO strong, its to cover the fact that the movie itself is garbage.

I saw the movie today. I'll give it a C. It's not as bad as the critics say it is but there's nothing really special about it. It was okay and had a twist in it that I didn't see coming.

Pacino and Deniro deserved a better movie.

Its called Heat I can't wait till its gets on Blu-Ray. Mann is personally supervising the transfer.

Its a shame, but you could tell that it was a by the numbers cop movie just from the trailer.

Definitely need a good DeNiro/Pacino movie before they get too old though.

It had "suck" written all over it to me form the previews. Fact is, while I love those boys when the credit is due them, they have made their share of "suck."

'nother thing--I know how popular it is to rag "the crtitics" (some are way better than others) but I'm a movie buff for many years, even took a couple film classes for fun, and more ofthen than not the general concensus of those guys will match my reactions. Rotten Tomatoes has been a handy site in that regard.

There are exceptions, sure, but all in all, "the critics" often know what they're talking about, IMO.

I saw it yesterday and the movie is average at best. Save your time and money folks.

That has become the funniest movie commercial I have ever seen. Why don't they just come out and say that they wrote a bad movie, threw some money at these two, and called it a day?

One of my friends was telling me he'd redbox it, because "it's only a dollar." I say, no way. My time is worth more than what is that likely to be garbage. I need to think there was an attempt at writing. What else do you need? That's just insulting, if you ask me.
